Everything`s a battle

I bought a brand new Honda Fit back in 2008. Since then I have had nothing but problems with my car and this dealership. Since purchasing my car I`ve had to take it back to get repairs on the wiper blades, a leak in the roof, the inside of my car freezing over one winter, and my carpets peeling up. Every time I`ve had to deal with their service department the experience has been less than pleasant. Right now i am... view more fighting with their service manager over the fact that the passenger side carpet in my car is peeling up for the second time! I was told they will not help me with this issue because the reason my carpet is peeling up is due to the passengers riding in my car. I can say that in the 27 yrs I`ve been alive I have never seen a carpet peel up in a car that was not in a flood. In addition to those problems they screwed up the financing on my car and have lied to me about routine service such as replacing a cabin air filter. The service rep at Lindsay Honda told me it would be over $100 to replace my cabin filter because they had to remove my engine to get to it. Mr. Tire replaced it for $40 and told me the correct procedure of removing the glovebox to get to it without me even asking.

Lindsay Honda sold me a car th...

Lindsay Honda sold me a car that has a major safety issue (surging/accelerating on own being the main issue) that was taken in for repairs a week after purchase. The service dept was unable to locate the problem (that is plastered all over internet forums) after telling me it would be `no big deal` to repair and insist that another dealer will be able to locate the issue after informing me that Lindsay`s "engine... view moreers" could not fix it. The sales manager, John Ross, yelled at me in front of my child, telling me I had been "nothing but NASTY" over this issue and greatly upset my son. I have been nothing but patient, but I will exhaust every outlet I have to get this issue righted. They refuse to reverse the sale and told me I have no rights. After telling manager my rights. he looked at me under his eyebrows and said "oh." This manager told me he would take the car back ONLY if I bought another car off their lot (they would do a trade in) for $240 a month. This is approx. $70 more/month they expect me to pay. Their customer service is UNACCEPTABLE and they are knowingly selling LEMON cars. If they truly valued their customers and their customer`s safety, they would be willing to take this car back, no strings, but since they know it has an issue (and they`ve admitted it, remember), they don`t want it back on the lot. Now I am stuck paying for a vehicle that I refuse to drive away from that lot again and will gladly continue with my filed complaints at the BBB and Attorney General and take legal action.

Very polite Staff, NOT pushy. I came to get 150,000 mile maintenance. Had the Shuttle service for the first time the driver was very nice and curteous.
