My wife went to valvoline in vails gate and was told by the tech that she needed a synthetic oil change; and that he would not perform the oil change otherwise. Not knowing, she agreed and received a $75 oil change. Turns out, the tech was either lying or is incompetent, because a call to the dealership where she purchased the vehicle confirmed that a conventional oil change is just fine.
