The Worst of the Worst
I`m from Pennsylvania and was new to New Jersey when my clutch went out on my car. I didn`t know any good mechanics so I took a chance with this guy. First, he demanded a deposit to buy parts of $900, then he never bought the parts and I had to, $700 worth. He refused to give back the deposit. Then he took more than seven weeks to return the car to me. He charged me a $100 labor rate, more t... view morehan any other shop around. His labor total ended up being $1250. He wasn`t going to warranty anything unless I paid the balance in cash. In the end, he gave me a hand written "Limited" warranty, whatever "Limited" means. Beware.
