Dont waste your time like I did,Purchased a used car from paul miller subaru, enjoyed it for ten days ,then the nightmare began.Brought the car back to the dealership got a loaner, not so bad.Three weeks later car was ready to be picked up,fixed one problem caused another, light on dash said bring car to shop drive carefully. They told me to take it to a mercedes dealership, that the Paul miller certified preowned war... view moreranty that came with the car would cover the repair costs,Did what I was told and to my surprise the dealer charged me 230.00$ and said the paul miller warranty co denied the claim. So I brought the car back to paul miller Subaru. They gave me a loaner car (should have bought a loaner car)after a few days called to see how the repair was going, found out from the service manager nothing was being done! I asked to speak to the sales manager when he answered we discussed why the vehicle was not fixed he said he is not obligated to do anything.I said ok I will retain a lawyer,he said bring back the loaner car or I will report it stolen and you will be arrested and that was three days before christmas.I called my attorney who informed me that unless my car was fixed I did not have to return the loaner car.Eventually I returned the loaner car and proceeded to try to get my car fixed.I was told by mercedes it would cost 3600.00$ to 5000.00$ to fix the problem.I got it fixed for 2500.00$ as it turned out I now have a really good car that I got from a really bad dealership! PS that certified preowned warranty that they said came with the car I found out five weeks later that they added 2500.00 dollars to my loan amount and actually got me to sign and accept it like they sold it to me.Here is the best part as long as no claims are paid on this GOLD certified paul miller warranty you can cancel it and get your money back,My lawyer sent a cancelation letter to the warranty co who in turn forward it to paul miller Subaru its been two weeks no response. Fast forward to 02/07/2013 its been 4 months of back and forth with paul miller attorney, they agreed to refund the 2,500.00 dollars they charged me for that exceptional, gold,Certified Paul Miller Preowned Bul Sht warranty that really is Continental warranty co.Here is a brief list of the things not covered under the Paul Miller CPO warranty.Shift assembly which allows you to put the car in gear so you could actually drive the car,Not Covered, rattle in passenger door from broken clip that holds power window switches,Not Covered, power steering pump, not covered, electronic level control, not Covered.(but an inexpensive way to lower your car and get that slammed to the ground look thats so popular in L.A.)I would love to know what it covers for 2,500.00$,?I had my attorney request all previous service records which I never got to this day, which will assure me that anything major that goes wrong with car wont be covered either, you see,in their fine print if you cant prove the vehicle has been properly maintained they will deny anything and everything!

Usually buying a used car is difficult. The salesperson will tell you anything to get you to buy the car. "Yes, it`s clean." "It was in an accident but no damage." "This deal won`t last!" And the cars are often priced above market. Well, this is not true at Paul Miller Subaru. I recently purchased a used SUV from them. The customer service was great. They d... view morerove two cars to my mechanic, about 90-minutes away from their dealership. My mechanic told me both cars were clean. Prior I had another dealership bring a car to my mechanic -- a reported clean car -- and my mechanic said it was a piece of junk: leaking oil, brakes shot, front end shaking, two front fenders replaced from an accident, air bag deployed, etc. Paul Miller Subaru puts its used cars through a 51 point inspection. They showed me the list of items that had repaired or replaced on the vehicle that I ended up buying. They do not sell cars that need work. They were prompt in returning emails and phone calls, and quick to find a suitable vehicle for me in my price range. At the showroom, I was treated with the same attention and care as folks buying new $30,000 cars. BTW, they went through all this work just to sell me a $7,000 car. Now THAT speaks volumes! Oh, and no high pressure sales here. I was offered an extended warranty option, which I declined. The gentleman offered me a better price and I still declined. He was polite and we concluded our transaction. I`d say that they price their cars pretty tightly. The car that I purchased was above Edmund`s value but below Blue Book value. If you`re looking for a new or used vehicle, I recommend that you go to Paul Miller Subaru first. It is worth the drive even if you are not local. Based on my experience, I`d guarantee that you will not be "taken for a ride."

Purchased an Impreza and it took 90 days and 8 phone calls to receive permanent plates and registration that I was charged $198 for. The two sales members I dealt with Brian Gasikowski and Matt Wood failed to provide plates after repeated requests. Brian also failed to provide temporary plates at the 60 day mark and I had to go for the week post Hurricane Sandy with expired plates. Finally contacted the dealership ma... view morenager Ron Sheffield and was able to receive permanent plates and registration.

Hope you have money to burn
My wife brought her 2011 forester in for 15k mile service. Almost $300 bucks for basically oil change and tire rotation. Will never bring the car there again and will service it myself from now on.
