I have found this Firestone to be awesome ! They have always done right by me. I have no complaints, only praise. They are a very busy place and most often I`ll just leave my car because they try very hard to accommodate everyone. Also, I have found them to be honest, you can find that everywhere....

Bad Customer Service

New tires: Waited 4 hours when told it would be 1 1/2 hours. It`s easy to make an appointment online for the place and I had picked out exactly what I wanted to do. When I get there they didn`t seem to know any of the information. They told me it would be only an hour and a half for getting new tires on. I checked back an hour and a half later. Still not done: they said about a half hour more. Checked back... view more half hour later. Still not done: They said it would be done soon. Sat down and waited and asked two more times. At four hours of waiting, I was about to go to the rude guy at the counter and tell him a piece of my mind. No explanation of why it was taking so long. When I went to pay, he apologized for the first time in four hours for the wait. Then under his breath he said about being backed up. Horrible customer service. Plenty of mechanics. Ridiculous wait time for a company that has a sign saying there is a guarantee for the time. Give me a break. Never going there again.

Tire Prices Too Good To Be True, But They Are!

When I bought my car, I had no idea how expensive the replacement run flat tires (RFT) were! The BMW dealership charges an outrageous $390 per tire (not installed)! Installation is another $60 per tire there too! (dont forget tax) That`s over $450!!!!! Firestone Tire & Service Center quoted me almost a hundred dollars less than the dealer`s ""low"" price and charge only half of the dealer`s labor fee for mou... view morenting and balancing. Their price for the same tire mounted and balanced was around $350 (for one 255/35/R18 Potenza RE050A RFT ). Bottom Line: If you are driving a BMW or Mercedes with run flat tires, don`t even bother going to the dealerships. They will rip you off. Basically you are paying the extra $300-400 for the loaner car for the day.... I`d much rather sit and wait, thank you very much.

TERRIBLE customer service

The customer service at this place is terrible. First of all, they don`t take appointments because, according to a staff person, they ""have too much business to bother."" So be prepared to have nowhere to park in the overflowing lot and get ready to wait 4-6 hours or more for service. Hard if you don`t have 2 cars.

I took my Honda Civic in for new brake pads in October 2007 and found I needed rotors and ... view morepads both. After replacing them, they continued to squeak terribly--with the NEW brakes-- until now (June 2008) so I took it back today to have them take another look. Turns out I need back shoe brakes...not sure why that wasn`t an issue in October whatsoever...but anyway ended up giving them permission to do what needed to be done. I waited all afternoon and evening for them to call and let me know when I could come pick my car up, and finally tonight I called THEM to get a pick-up time (I had taken the bus back home hours before) and after 3 minutes of nobody picking up the phone, the man who finally answered said, ""oh, that car is supposed to be picked up for tomorrow morning."" It would have been nice of someone to tell me that-- they were already closed and everyone but him had left. Also, both times I have taken my car to this place-- the second time not expecting to need any additional service--I have been uncomfortable about their trustworthiness. Find a more honest, organized, customer-oriented place to fix your car.
