Quality, personal automotive service
LT was recommended to me by a friend and I am very thankful! Here`s my ridiculous story and how LT has helped me. I brought my car in because it was overheating, turns out it was a leaky hose as expected. They fixed this problem inexpensively and quickly. Then I had chocolate in my ignition (don`t ask) which made it so I couldn`t lock my car and it constantly made a ding-ing noise as if the door was open. They kin... view moredly went out there with some magic potion and got it unstuck :) Then I finally decided to have them look at my suspension because my car was floating around and when I went over any bumpy patch it rattled like it was going to fall apart. I didn`t take it in earlier because I knew my car was getting old and it would be a serious fix. Sure thing, I brought my car in and it needed new struts. Unfortunately this is an expensive fix due to the type of car. John called around to all the places in town to try to get the parts for cheaper but they simply aren`t available after-market. John called me and explained the situation, there was no light way to put it. They didn`t recommend I keep driving it because the whole structure of the suspension is compromised (ie. they care about my safety) but also didn`t recommend I fix it because of the cost. It would cost more to get it fixed than it`s worth. At 190k+ miles, my 96 Mazda isn`t worth much. I appreciate their honesty since they weren`t just interested in getting the business. So now I have a car I need to sell. Takers anyone? We have another old car sitting around so I brought it in to make sure it is in as good of shape as possible so I can safely drive it around town, albeit not in style. They replaced the belt, the brakes, the muffler (it had a hole in it), the ignition switch thingy (it was almost impossible to start before) and many other things. Thank you for making sure I am safe without breaking the bank!

Worst place ever
This place is the worst...they said they only found 1 thing wrong when I took my car there for a misfire. Then after paying $404.50 they said it seams to have developed another problem. They kept car overnight. Said it was all fixed. It just needed some screen cleaned. When my friend there with me asked them, they said that was all that was wrong, that it would be fine now. They are acting as if they did me a favor f... view moreor not charging for that. So then as I leave, car still doing same thing. I take it back. They keep car again overnight. Now they want over 400 dollars more to replace oxygen sensors. They say when I took car in the only thing wrong they found was the one thing they already fixed and are sticking to the same story, but now say that if they replace the sensors they can not guarantee that will fix the problem. Out of frustration I take car to sparks auto diagnostics. They say they don?ˆ™t think the oxygen sensors are the problem. per my request I have them installed anyway. they then tell me like they suspected there is another problem. they replace a mass air flow sensor. the problem is now fixed. They recommend I go back to LT muffler to let them know, as they believe that LT muffler should at least refund me the labor for the job, which is about half of what I paid. I left LT muffler with the complaint from the BBB and sparks auto invoice showing what was wrong. They called and left me a message saying that the mass airflow is what they cleaned, that they had done me a favor, and they are not going to refund me anything. Had they recommended I replace the mass air flow sensor I would have told them to do it. so now because of them I am even out the cost of 2 hours labor to get this car diagnosed right, as well as $404.50 for a repair to LT muffler that did not fix the problem of the misfire I took car in for. since then i hear radio ads on how good they are, and how they guarantee there work. i guess it`s not worth it to them to refund what is a couple hours of labor to keep them for getting a bad reputation. now that i am sharing my experience with everyone, as soon as i say LT muffler they say, OH NO ... STAY AWAY..

They made up the story in order to justify a 650$ fix
Brake fluid light warned me of a problem, and by a recommendation I went to LT. After a few hours they called me with a story how a stone smacked the caliper and broke the area where the ""banjo"" bolt connects the fluid line to the caliper. In order to fix the problem they have to replace the whole caliper, but if you are replacing one you have to replace both in pair. Estimate approx. $650. After they saw me hesita... view moreting they lowered the price to $550 if they use old pads!!!!

I went home and checked by myself, and couldn`t find a broken area of a caliper. Friend of mine recommended replacing a ""banjo"" bolt and washers for it, since that area had a greasy-muddy build-up (no sign of a damage caused by a stone...).
And there it was the fix for which I paid some 25$ (Overpriced NAPA parts, bolt +brake fluid, but on a Sunday they were the only one that had it) and some 2 hours of our work. Thank you James.

Of course, I and friend of mine that recommended LT are not going there anymore. On my car there are a few more things that are suppose to be replaced in the near future (timing belt, CV joints...), but they lost me as a customer. If they were honest, and I know that it is hard to find an honest mechanic, they would be doing those replacements. But not now.
