I spotted a used truck in the parking lot and called Volvo of Las Vegas to ask some questions about it, one of the salesman by the name Cooper answered and I asked him to check and verify if the truck had satellite radio and he told me it did indeed have satellite radio so we ended up purchasing the truck only to find out afterwards that the truck did not have satellite radio so they offered to have it installed and ... view moretold us to take it to a radio shop which we did and we paid under 400 dollars to have it installed at the location of Volvos choice and Volvo assured us that we would be reimbursed. Then after it was installed said they would only pay us back half of what the price was even though they sent us there, told us they would cover the expense and lied about it having satellite radio in the first place. Lets just say we haven`t heard from them since or received any money. What a HORRIBLE experience!! Save yourself the headache and please go somewhere else!

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and it has been the worst purchase of my life. I was forced to enlist the services of an attorney. Not thinking we filled out the paperwork and then they said ok come and pick up the vehicle in one or two days. So they called me two days later to get the car and 10 hours after pickup the very first day it broke down. Unbelievable I thought so it had to be towed caus... view moree it was a complete system failure everything went out. Turns out it was the alternator. I told them I didn`t want it but they refused to let me return it. They have had the vehicle now since my purchase for one week and it still isn`t fixed. The even toyed with me calling me in to get the car and it wasn`t fixed. They just wanted to hassle me about wanting to return the vehicle. These guys know that used car buyers are screwed if something goes wrong cause they are the only dealership within 175 miles. After a little research, parts are hard to get outside of the dealership. I have engage an attorney who says they will take the car back but it`s going to be hellish doing it. I could go on and on about the lies they have told me but I think you get the point. I will say one more thing however if your not quite convinced. They didn`t even provide me with a key that worked. and they only gave me one key. I`ve never purchased a vehicle that at least two sets of keys were provided. Another thing that was really bad was the trunk didn`t open. The remote was broke and the button inside didn`t work either. I finally found a button under the lip of the trunk and opened it manually. When I said I didn`t want it they said I`d have to take it up with the note holder because it had already been funded. They purposely kept the vehicle until the loan had been funded so as that way I couldn`t return it back after it broke down the first day I had it. When it broke down, it was a complete system failure. They are saying it was an alternator but they still haven`t fixed it a week later. Be careful when purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership. They`re crafty and make postings that list the car a little under blue book making the clever appearance their competitive and fair.

Stay far, far away from these dishonest crooks. They`re as dishonest as they come. You can pretty much guarantee everything that comes out of their face is a lie. Even their advertising is a lie. It`s almost unbelievable, but then again it`s a (used)car dealership so what do you expect. They lie for a living and cheat people out of every penny possible.

After noticing a heavy gas smell in our garage we contacted Volvo. It was explained that our fuel pump my be malfunctioning. We discovered that there was a recall on these particular fuel pumps and again contacted the dealership. They said we were not covered within the recall and would have to pay for service. Petitioned Volvo headquarters December 27th 2011 spoke to Tracy ext 1969. They in turn contacted Volvo La... view mores Vegas to fix the cracked fuel pump in our car. We pointed out the recall again but they claim that even though the problem occurred in our particular model and year and in the state claimed, our vin number is not covered under this recall. Our service is limited to an extended warranty that surprisingly ended just months ago. We took vehicle to a reputable mechanic familiar with this particular problem and he verified that it is indeed the fuel pump mentioned in recall that has cracked and is causing an extremely dangerous fire hazard. Again spoke to Volvo and they refuse to fix this issue. They refuse to even look at the vehicle unless we pay $139. The general manager at Volvo Las Vegas, claims this issue will not cause any sort of fire danger and he`s never seen any issue with this leak. He said that the car is built so that the gas will not pool but "drain" out of the car. Apparently gasoline draining from the car is not considered to be dangerous. When our vehicle was inspected the fuel was pooling under the passenger seats and in particular under my three year olds car seat. We have photos ad documents. At this point we have no other option but to have the repairs made and pay. We`ve chosen to have the work done at another shop as we do not trust this the Volvo dealership. They have been extremely underhanded and dishonest in all of our dealings. Volvo is very much aware of the problem. If they weren`t, then the 2001-2005`s would not have been recalled. I`d have no problem paying for a repair if that repair needed to be done because of wear and tear. However, when it comes to a defect in the design and or manufacturing process it is the responsibility of the company to correct. The age of the vehicle has nothing to do with the fact that the plastic flange cracks in extreme heat. This should have been taken into account before the car was sold. This company refuses to fix a potentially deadly issue with their product. I hope there can be some solution before someone is hurt or worse. If you are having the same issue or similar problems with this company please contact and file a complaint with the NHTSA 1-888-327-4236 The Federal Trade Commission 877-382-4357 Better Business Bureau and your states Attorney Generals office. Good luck and stay away from this place.

Avoid this place if you can
These guys did not bargain in good faith and tried to screw us on a warranty plan for the car. Who would think used car salesman were so unethical? Unfortunately, these guys are typical used car salesman. I am sure buying a new car from them is a better experience but after they treated us so poorly they wont get another chance with me.

Honest, Professional People...
I wanted to buy an inexpensive used vehicle so I did not have payments anymore. This was quite a project because every time I called on a car that I liked, it was sold or in terrible condition. I found a car that I liked on Craigslist and called the number. Rocky from Volvo of Las Vegas answered and the car was actually still available! Better yet, the price was accurate and the car was in excellent condition. T... view morehey have a great selection, nice salespeople, and the dealership is clean! I could not have asked for a better experience unless the car was free! This dealership is located on West Sahara 2 blocks west of Rainbow.

Wow!
I am extremely pleased and surprised at how professional this dealership is. I am an experienced shopper and certainly know the games that dealers play. I was completely shocked at how they made me feel welcome and important to them. I had no trouble getting my questions answered both over the phone and when I finally came in. Most importantly, what I was told over the phone and the final numbers in person were t... view morehe same!!! I will not waste my time with other dealers anymore.
