Best Service/Repair

My 2004 Chevy Trailblazer was totaled in a deer related accident. Carstar Mundelein instantly took care of the towing situation and also expedited the insurance process by working closely with them. A year later I was involved in yet ANOTHER deer related accident with my 2005 Pontiac GTO. This time my car was fixable and the folks over at Carstar were great. Butterfield Carstar Mundelein

Nice friendly people to work with but the quality was not the best. When I took my chevy back for them to fix their mess ups they wouldn`t stand behind it. They found every reason in the book not to fix the obvious poor craftmanship of their employees. They also went way above the quoted price. I later talk to the person that used them and recommended them to me and I found out when she had issues less than a year ... view moreafter the work was done they refused to take care of her also. Jeannie has a great personallity and is very good at sales but once that sale is made you are on your own because they won`t stand behind the work they did. They promised excellent customer service and lifetime warranties but that means nothing after they are paid, even when you have a very legitmate issue. They have now lost two customers and neither one of us recommend them to anyone. We actually advise against it. If they would have fixed the issue and not fought me on it I would have been a customer for life but now I will never use them again. It would have cost them about $20 to do the touch up for the paint that was flaking off and fix the seal improperly installed on the car door.
