Reviews:
Poor service and sales department:
The service department does not take time to listen and solve a problem, they only want you to bring your car in so they can put it on a lift to change you a diagnostic fee, only to find out the parts department don`t have the parts and it will take 2-3 days to get something as little as gasket or seal.
Very poor customer service

I went all over Melbourne to f...
I went all over Melbourne to find a car for my mother, and got hammered to say the least. After horrible experiences from 5 dealerships in the area, a relative suggested Nissan on US1. I walked in with a bit of anxiety having already been through a lot of old school high pressure salespeople around town, I anticipated more of the same, BUT I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! I was greeted by Walter, and worked with Jason.... view more It`s hard to express the relief of finding a professional dealership after so many days of failure, only to be further impressed by the quality of the car, life time warranty, and finding the right choice for our needs. Jason was fantastic. The deal we got couldn`t have been better, and Quentin and Forest (managers) really took care of the deal I wanted, without treating me like a fool. I used to sell cars, and recognize many sales tactics sales people are "trained" to use. None of those tactics were used here. It was up front honesty from the beginning to the delivery. I would buy again, recommend my friends, and can`t thank the sales group at this dealership enough. Jason knew the car inside and out, all my questions were answered without hesitation or excuses. After discussing our needs, we didn`t have to walk around the lot trying several models (another sales tactic to wear you out), but he targeted the right car for us, and he was spot on. Thank you Nissan, thank you Jason. My only concern was the gal in the back that has you sign all the paperwork. We put a large sum on the car for a down payment plus had a trade in, eliminating any "gap" for depreciation from the loan amount, yet, she still tried to sell us gap insurance for $550. If we needed it, SCCU sells it for only $250. The car`s reliability and warranty is more than adequate, I recommend avoiding all the add on nonsense at closing, and buying anything when she tells you it`s only $10 more a month, understand you`re probably in a 6 year loan, and that`s $720. Typically these packages are a waste of money and just more profit for the dealer, which she`s paid a bonus for getting you to sign up for it. Find your score and interest rate at your bank BEFORE you hear what dealer says what you qualify for, find the invoice price the same way. I used Edmunds online and it was accurate. Compare other dealer promotions while sitting at the salesman`s desk, and work your best deal based upon what the market is doing. Avoid addendum stickers, you can always buy under MSRP sticker. When I worked the purchase to the best of my ability, there wasn`t any attitude, sighing, or lack of cooperation from the sales department at all. I can`t say any other dealer in this town handled me so well. Two other dealerships got into a swearing match with me out of frustration. (Rosner and Gator) So, for this experience to turn out so well, what can I say but highest honors for Nissan of Melbourne? I got a great deal, and they were happy to sell me the car. My elderly mother had no idea what Bluetooth was, and Jason showed her patiently how to set up her cell phone in the car. It was a very nice touch to see delivery done this way. He even helped us move all the stuff in the car from our trade in. Nothing could be improved upon in this transaction. We are still delighted to own this car, no buyers remorse.

Nissan of Melbourne is worthless
On 08/07/08, I went in for an alignment for my 07 Maxima to Nissan of Melbourne. A service advisor, Mr. Eric Bush, wrote my order. Some guy called Jimmy did the work. When I got my car back after more than two hours, there were numerous scratches on each of the four alloy wheels from the tips of the alignment apparatus that fits into the wheels. When I showed the service manager (Mr. Phil Barrier) what has been done,... view more he argued that they did not do that because my car has 10,000 miles on it. He made absolutely no attempt to fix the damages his service personnel have done even though the cause of the damages to the wheels was very clear. When we think of buying a Nissan vehicle, we should be prepared to deal with worthless Nissan dealerships like this. Unfortunately, we don`t!
This reminds me of an alignment I once got done to my 97 Altima a few years back at a Tire Kingdom (now NTB at 2385 Silver Dr, Columbus, OH 43211). One of the wheel caps wasn`t tightly fitted and came out in the street while driving back from the store. I went back to the store and the service manager (do not remember his name any more) apologized and instantly looked at nearby shops where I could get the wheel cap, talked to that store manager and requested me to get it from there at their expense. What a stark difference from Nissan of Melbourne!
