Recommended changing timing belt?
Took my care to another shop and they said my care does not have a timing belt it has a chain and $600 to replace a timing belt was highway robbery. Also had my breaks changed at precision tune on 23rd and Air Port and ever since the anti-lock brake comes on. Took it back three times for this problem and they never fixed it. Another shop said that they probably had nothing to do with it because the sensor is not bro... view moreken but they obviously had no idea how to fix it because they would have replace the wheel baring to correct the problem instead of guessing and replacing random parts.

Not Fit To Change My Oil
I have 3 comments: they upsell, upsell, upsell. They try to scare you into repairs that are not necessary. They told me my timing cover was leaking and I should replace the timing belt, cam seals and water pump. They gave me an estimate of $650. I told them I wanted a second opinon and took it to another shop down the road and had them check it out. NO OIL LEAK!! The other shop took me out to my car while it ... view morewas in the air. The only oil leak they found was coming from the WRONG OIL FILTER that the fools at Precision had just installed.

The other shop stated the timing belt did need to be replaced but as a matter of preventative, not because of oil leaks. They then quoted me a price of $450. TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS LESS!!! That price included everything Precision was going to replace. I scheduled the work and had it done at the other shop. Oh, they also changed my oil filter with the correct one at no charge.

My advise. Take your car to a professional and leave these money grubbers alone.

Over 300,000 miles
I have visited numerous Precision Tune Auto Cares over the years (including this one). This is the only place I go to get my oil changed. The value is unbeatable.

In 2000 I bought a van and when I sold it I had over 300,000 miles on the original motor thanks to Precision Tune Auto Care.

Recently I talked to the person who bought the van from me (who also gets his oil changed at Precision Tune Auto C... view moreare) and he said the motor is doing just great and now has 375,000 miles on it.

Are we looking at over 400,000 miles off of Precision Tune Auto Care oil changes?

When the new owner hits 400,000 I`ll let you know.

Over Priced. Bad Service
Went there to get them to take my locking lug nuts off my car. I lost the key and wanted to replace them with regular lug nuts. They wanted $120 labor charge. I told them I thought that was a little high and the man shrugged his shoulders and said, ""$120 dollars. I left and went to another shop that only charged me $20 and took about 10 minutes of labor.

Bottom line, I think the mechanic was going to poc... view moreket the money and not turn it over to the store. Not going back there again.

Not So Great!
So. I had my oil changed by Precision 4100 miles ago. And what would you know it was now time to do it again! As we got into our car to take it for our new oil change, going down the road, the oil filter blew the O` ring and all our oil shot out of the car and our engine locked up! Not only is it a week from Christmas but Now We Don`t Even Have a Car!!! So I called the Manager Brandon and he came out to look at t... view morehe car. He told me everything looked like there stuff but we should not have had our own mechanic look at it first? (Because our mechanic is cheaper). Brandon insisted on hauling our car from our driveway back to their shop to look at it ""Because it is Protocol."" He insisted the tow was coming out of his pocket and it would not cost us a thing. The next day instead of that afternoon when I had to call him back, he states ""We are not fixing this and we are not going to file on our insurance. And you have to pay the $45.00 tow fee."" I did not know what to say... But I was angry! After finally talking to the owner of the company, who would not even give me and my wife his name, he said if we did not pay the tow fee we couldn`t even get our car back to junk it and he would charge us storage now. After I asked him what he was thinking and told him the manager said I would not have to pay the tow, he told me it was my problem, he was a millionaire and didn`t really care about us or our car at all, and would not talk to me anymore. He does not care that it is Christmas and I could pay for the broken car if I wanted it back is what his words were! So, in summation. Please do not take your car here if you want below average service and super poor customer service. After all like the owner and manager of the store said"" It is my word against yours.""
