Longlife changes alternator and drains battery
I had the worst experience with Longlife Auto despite and partly because of the good reviews. My car would not start and was towed by AAA who referred Longlife who was nearby while my regular auto repair guy was almost 20 miles away. Longlife was to replace the alternator. Several days before my regular auto service diagnosed the alternator problem, giving a clean bill of health to the battery. I did not have time to... view more get the job done then and thought I had a few days. No luck. Problem #1 Longlife did the work but his credit card service did not work and drove me several miles to to my bank to pay in cash. A good half hour wasted. Problem #2 - By the end of the day the car stalled again. The next morning AAA towed the car back. The battery had to be replaced because he had drained it admitting not knowing how to turn off the A/C despite that it was clearly on the dashboard. I was advised that the battery now had to be replaced despite that he depleted it. He took no responsibility. Problem #3 - The car stalled again after the battery replacement. Luckily I was nearby my regular auto service guy who proved reliable as usual. Problem #4 - I tried to send him an email but Longlife website is totally dysfunctional. The email I tried to send bounced, the links to Facebook and Twitter did not work and the misspellings made the site as bad as the service. I filed a complaint with AAA and they seem to be quite interested in my laundry list of problems. We`ll see Do not use this service. Mitch is the owner and is a righteous non consumer friendly so and so. I truly believe that the positive reviews on this site are not real.

I first met Roger approximately 2 years ago (I was referred to him by a neighbor, after my car stoppped while I was driving it. Not only was the cost lower than any other estimate I had received, Roger and the crew were extremely efficient and friendly. I had a fuel pump, changed, with some hoses. The service continue to amaze me everytime. Because I am a college student I also received a discount on already low pric... view morees. the entire process completed in the SAME DAY!!! That included a new fuel pump, power steering hoses, and two sensors. The cost was easily a $250 less than it would have cost me elsewhere. They also open Saturdays too! Very few auto shops are even open on Saturday period . I would highly recommend Longlife Automotiove to college friends and anyone who seeking help with their car. Great guys great service. Hope this helps for anyone who is having car problems.

I am a single mother, always paranoid when I have auto issues...I feel helpless and I have been taken advantage of by mechanics in the past. For four years (4) I have taken my cars to Longlife Automotive for what I thought were serious transmission problems, but it was a speed regulator, a little over $95.00 he could have sold me a new transmission, I trust him with my repairs and I hope the business flourishes, he... view more surely deserves it, honesty is hard to find in this industry!

Great!! Miami transmission shop! I went to four different shops for estimates. My Jeep Commander was transmission acting funny, like engaging in 4+4 by its self. Took it to three shops that wanted me to buy a transfer case for almost two thousand dollars. One shop wanted $125.00 to check it out. I should have gone to Longlife Automotive first. I dropped it off and two hours later they called and said to pick it up. I... view more asked what you mean. He said its done and fixed. He found a wire that was disconnect, He fixed it and said about $65.00 should cover it. I said wow no problem!!! It?ˆ™s been working with no problems at all for about a month now. Go see them first and save the running around

I can`t say enough about my ex...
I can`t say enough about my experience at Longlife Automotive. I had been dealing with an intermittent problem with my car where it would start up, but then stall within a 1/2 mile. It wasn`t predictable but was a concern as I didn`t want to pull into fast moving traffic and stall. I left my car with Longlife Automotive four times and they were unable to find the problem, but were willing to keep trying. Eventual... view morely it happened while they were driving and immediately were able to identify it as a fuel problem once they did that, they were able to fix it within an hour. I have to believe that given the amount of time that they put into diagnosing my problem was not trivial, but I was never charged. When they did the work their prices were reasonable and I have been nothing but satisfied. I`ve also been satisfied with the work that they have done on my transmission. I have no hesitation in recommending them - five stars all the way!
