Called Chuck & was quoted $85.00 (CASH ONLY) for ac repair. I took my car in 6/13/13 near the completion of the job he said "oh you have leaks- this changes price I quoted now its $120 but Ill cut you a deal- $105". I didn?ˆ™t receive a receipt, I get in my car the next morning to go to work- A/C is not working! I called Chuck- He apologized and said to bring the car back (to leave over the weekend beca... view moreuse he doesn?ˆ™t work on cars during the weekend) & he will fix it on Monday and it will be little to no additional charge. I dropped the car off and told him to call me, if it will cost any more. I received no call so I called him- he said $50 to pick up car. I get there, now its $60?? I said "you said $50 & I want receipt?ˆ?. He agreed, then He wrote receipt and said I NOW owe $10 for "taxes"- I paid, got my receipt and left. This morning (the next day) the ac is not working AGAIN. I wasted $165.00 and have NO AC in my car. Place is a rip-off- better to just set your $ on fire.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I found A/C Action Automotive to be dishonest and I feel that they took advantage of me. I had to bring my car back to him 5 times for my A/C (5 times in less than 9 months!) Maybe he just doesn`t know how to repair cars, but my guess is that he is simply taking advantage of his customers. He told me that he replaced the compressor 3 times, so I think that this leads to the conclu... view moresion that he is using rebuilt parts or parts from the junkyard, but of course charging customers for "new" parts. He says that he guarantees his service for 365 days, but when you return to the shop, he will not honor that commitment. I originally went to him because he was cheaper than other shops, but now I know why. Pay a little more to have a honest and capable mechanic work on your car.
