I am not easily impressed, but Tim at AA Foreign Car Repair managed to do that and then some. These days, it`s very difficult to find people who are competent and truly knowledgeable. It`s even more difficult to find businesses that are ethical and fair in their pricing. My only problem with AA Foreign Car Repair is that I didn`t discover them sooner. I have been a taking my 2001 Audi TT there for about three years. They not only have kept it running beautifully but they have alerted me to potential problems or worn out parts due to the age of the car. I`ve been taking my ancient Volvo to AA for 10 years and I have never met mechanics - or individuals, for that matter - with this kind of honesty and integrity. I would steer clear of this place. I took my Porsche here to ask a few simple questions. The owner said he would not perform a leak down test because they were not reliable. OK - alarm 1. Other than that test I had a ton of work to be performed but I was supplying my own oil, filter, etc. The owner said no - he would not work on the vehicle if I supplied my own parts. No problem. I thought my clutch was out because it seemed as though that was the problem. I know nothing about cars and am a 20 year old college student. I called first for a price estimate for a new clutch and he was very prompt about contacting me back with the information I requested. When I dropped off my car I told him my clutch needed to be replaced and I was looking at spending over 800 dollars. He called the next day and... view more told me my clutch was fine and that it was a hose, which connected to the clutch, that needed to be replaced. He very easily could have ripped me off and told me it was the clutch since that was what I believed in the first place. My car was fixed the next day and I ended up spending only 192 dollars. I praise his honesty and thank him very much for not taking advantage of a young girl like many places would have. Thank you again!

My 97 BMW 528i went into S-2 ...

My 97 BMW 528i went into S-2 mode while driving in bad rain. For two months it continued and the car drove funny. I took it to Jerrys where they told me I needed a torch converter, took it to Amco where they said I needed a new transmission. I brought my Mecedes CLK 55 AM...

I brought my Mecedes CLK 55 AMG in to Tim and was unbelievably impressed with his work. Not only was he up front and honest about the work that needed to be repaired, he was very reasonable on his prices. They really know what they`re doing, are extremely professional, and I always feel they are giving me the fairest price possible.
