Mad Hatter Muffler on Linebaugh - Excellent Service

Excellent Service!! I had always taken my Honda to the dealership so when I was told to get the catalytic converter replaced at a muffler shop I had no idea where to go. I found Mad Hatter on the internet and read a few reviews so I called. I spoke to Victor and he was great. But the lady of the shop was the angel who sealed the deal for me. She said she knew exactly how I felt and wanted to assure me that every customer, every woman, would be treated honestly. And they are HONEST! So they looked under the hood, actually under the car. When I saw the underside of my car I was amazed at the mess I saw. Oil was everywhere, both CV Boots were cracked, etc. The mechanics took the time to explain everything to me and they worked hard to get it all done by the time I had to run to the other side of Tampa to pick up my cats from the VET. I got excellent prices and no more oil leak!! They are top notch. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. I TRUST them! They are my Auto Repair shop now. No more worries. THANK YOU!

SOUNDS LIKE I FOUND HEAVEN

I WAS THERE BEFORE THE DOORS OPENED, ONE BY ONE I HEARD A CAR FIRE UP, BRRRROOM, LOPE, LOPE, CAKKEL. THEY STARTED PULLING LASTS NIGHTS WORK OUT OF THE GARAGE TO GET READY FOR TODAY. Great shop!

I found this muffler shop in the yellow pages and didn`t expect it to be as nice as it was. They offered the best advice on what was needed to achieve the sound I was looking for. I couldn`t be happier with my new exhaust. I highly recommend stopping in.

Above and Beyond

I don`t really know where to start but let`s just say I had been more than irresponsible when it came to the state of my brakes. My vehicle was a danger to myself and others on the road. I called Madhatter after seeing reviews on the web on a on The Friday before a 3 day Holiday weekend. The owner was nice enough to arrange to have all of the parts available to repair my brake system. I was set to arrive at their sh... view moreop at 230, but, because of work reasons I didn`t arrive until 430. So when most people were already getting out of work and celebrating their Holiday weekend a manager and a technician stayed and promised to fix my car. At about 600 the technician ran into a bit of a snag, you see I had driven for so long on my crappy brakes that I had worn through one of my calipers. So, at 615 on Friday the manager got on the phone and called several parts shops to find me a caliper; after about 5 or 6 calls they were able to find one for my truck. The technician jumped in his car and drove to the store to pick up the caliper so that he could complete the work. To make a long story short, the technician and the manager stayed until 745 until all of the repairs were complete. I was so surprised by the fact that anyone was willing to stay late on a holiday weekend to ensure that my vehicle was safe to operate that I wasn`t even concerned with the price. With that in mind I was extremely surprised by the low price and called one of my friends who owns and operates a repair shop, who substantiated Madhatter`s price. As you can see by the above review I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and service I received at Madhatter and would recommend this shop to anyone seeking an honest and caring repair shop, something that seems almost impossible to find these days. I would like to thank both the manager and technician for their responsibility, professionalism and caring, they definitely went above and beyond to help out a clueless customer. BEING COMPLETELY 100% HONEST

the only thing that i liked about this place was that they DID have at SOME points good customer service......& that was when i first walked in the door. my car went in with transmission problems & came out with an oil leak,( mysteriously the rear main seal was all of a sudden no good) blinker malfunction, my window relay fuse was popped & guinny rigged ( also found by the NISSAN DEALERSHIP, the passenger door seeme... view mored as if it was knocked out of alignment, the car wouldnt start, my oil pressure switch was just left hanging & dragging on the ground, and on top of that i had to bring my car to a NISSAN DEALER to find out why the car wouldnt start after they towed my car to their shop ( as i stated the transmission was shot) & i mentioned that the car was fine as far as the engine goes & it started fine & asked them if they ever sattempted to start the car before working on it & they said no! ive never heard of a auto shop that didnt start the car they were working on before starting the work. then later they tried to change their story & said they couldnt start it. And last but not least, they had my car for almost a FULL MONTH before i got it back only to discover all of the NEW problems it now has. ended up having to pay out of pocket for more work done on the car by the NISSAN DEALERSHIP, & when i told them how i felt about their service they denied any responsibility & basically got into a shoting match over the phone. I asked to speak to the owner & they lied & said the owner was out of town, i asked for a phone # & i didnt get one,later i found out that i was speaking to the owner all along. so i can HONESTLY say that this was the worst experience in my life when it comes to their auto shop, i could have read a book on how to fix the problem with my tranny & had less problems with my car after i was done then the way my car came back from them, & they basically sent me home with my car starting after 3 or 4 tries & a bunch of different leaks & the other issues i had stated above & said have a nice day. TOTALLY & UTTERLY UNHAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE. i recommend NOT bringing your car their ever, even if it was he last shop on earth.....

Top-notch service, affordable prices

It?ˆ™s not often that I give people recommendations. Lord knows I?ˆ™ve had my share of disappointments with regard to the service industry. Wonderful, Honest People
