F Rating with the Better Business Bureau AND lawsuit with AZ

They don`t even deserve the 1 star... I came to them based on price, but it cost me more in the long run. They initially had my car for a week and a half (they promised it would take 2-3 days) and when I finally picked it up it was still not fixed properly. They told me they had added some lubricant which should fix the problem after driving for a while... stupid me. I drove for a week and then brought it back. T... view morehis time they had it for 3 weeks and it was never fixed right. I was told that it was not the transmission and that it was a computer problem, however, I ended up taking it to another shop and ended up having it replaced by them. Fortunately, my bank has refunded my money (it is still in evaluation stage though). They did not call me a single time, even after promising to call back. They lied constantly about lead times and used the same excues for delays over and over. When confronted, they hang up and refuse to talk to you. Please do NOT believe the positive reviews like I did... My experience was the same as every one of the negative reviews. This company has 43 complaints and an F rating with the Better Business Bureau for a reason. Channel 12 also did a segment on them on 9/5/11... please believe that story as well. On top of that, they currently have a suit filed against them by the Attorney General of the State of AZ. Dennis and Rob are CROOKS and should not be allowed to do business any longer.

Transmission delayed......no call back..

I received a quote of $550 for a transmission but then later they changed the price to $868; held onto my transmission and told me they would ship out next day... next day turned into 10 days. They were just supposed to swap the transmissions because they said they had it stock but come to find out they didn`t. When they promise that it will be shipped out, they wait to lump it with other shipments that have to g... view moreo out. They were not sympathetic and did not communicate with me on the status of my transmission. I had to call them even though they said they would return my call. I got them off of Craigslist and do not recommend them. I`m a single parent and delay just caused unnecessary hardship on me when originally they said they had the part and quoted me a low price and jacked it up later.

Trans-plant transmission

I doubt the good reveiws on this site about Transplant. If you use other sites I think they are more accurate. This company has terrible business practices and a law suit from the attorney general office of Arizona. Beware. We had a bad experience . Also look at Ripoff Report . Watch out for Rob and Dennis. Got a great deal from Transpla...

Got a great deal from Transplant Transmission today! Only $495 for my GM Transmission and they installed it for about $300 while I waited. The shop was clean, the people polite and the job done well - Good Job!

Recently had to have the clutc...

Recently had to have the clutch replaced on my old 95 Jeep Wrangler and I was referred to Transplant Transmission by a friend. They were a bit away from my house, was my only complaint, but not too far and they offered a fair price and could do the swap out that day. I went in at about 11:00am and they got the Jeep right in. I waited around for my car to be fixed. It was lunch time and the guy in the office o... view moreffered to have one of the guys grab me a sub sandwich since he was heading out to get lunch for everyone. I was surprised at the level of customer service I received from them. I do not think I have ever been offered more than a cup of coffee and a cookie. A little while after lunch, they had the repair complete and I was headed home, full and happy. Thank you for the great job, you made a new customer and thank you Paul for the referral.

I recently had to have the clu...

I recently had to have the clutch replaced in my Saturn. Transplant Transmission took very good care of me and my car. The first clutch they installed was defected, so they towed my car into the shop the next morning and reinstalled a new clutch, no extra charge. Although it took 2 times to repair it, I was treated so well, they were so apologetic it was okay with that. Thanks Transplant!

Very Affordable Service

Transplant Transmission installed my transmission for a flat $300 and had it in within 1 day of dropping it off. They did a great job on the install and I was very happy with the price. If you are looking for a dependable repair shop in the east valley, this guys are worth a call.

Repaired my clutch quickly!

Transplant Transmissions in Tempe recently replaced the clutch on my Saturn. They did a great job and for a fair price. They even had to do it twice, since the first clutch was defective. They paid to tow it in and complete the repair. I was very impressed with the level of service I received considering some of the bad reviews listed for this company. I was satisfied and would use them again if needed.

Clutch repaired same day after...

Clutch repaired same day after being towed in for free - now that is what i call service. I was on my way home from the job site when my clutch gave out. I found an add for a free tow on my iphone and they dispatched someone right out. When I got to the office, Rob said they had my part in stock and i could wait while they switched it out. Thanks for the Tow!

Read mixed reviews about this ...

Read mixed reviews about this place but the economy is still bad around my parts and I need to find the best deal. Including installation Transplant was almost $90 cheaper than the other companies I called. Hopefully, she keep running beautifully, but I asked lots of questions before i signed or committed to anything, just to be sure i would be covered IF something happened.
