Earnhardt Scottsdale Lexus, Scottsdale AZ ?ˆ“ Tex `That Ain?ˆ™t No Bull` Earnhardt should be ashamed of himself. I brought my Lexus to an Earnhardt dealership for service and was pummeled with `bull`; very expensive, unauthorized `bull`. I will never do business with an Earnhardt dealership again. When I brought my car for service, I was told by Dudley repairs of $3000 were needed to my transmission to address a leak. Wh... view moreen I declined indicating I`d ask my regular mechanic to make an assessment, Dudley called back and said the mechanic checked further and diagnosed the leak at the seal at the shifter, which he said, was a much less costly repair. I was also told of other items that purportedly needed replacement most of which I declined, such as transmission and motor mounts, etc. When I returned for my car, I was billed more than $1200.00 with the claim Dudley misunderstood that I had not authorized all work to be done that he recommended. Worse yet, the leak was not addressed. When I took my car to my regular mechanic I learned the seal the dealership supposedly replaced was the very seal my mechanic had previously replaced and was not the source of the leak. In summary, I was charged for unauthorized repairs and the work done did not address the leak. I now have repair bills from my regular mechanic in addition to the charges unscrupulously billed by Earnhardt Scottsdale Lexus. Buyers beware; check the reviews and complaints, and think twice before entrusting your car to this dealership. The former Scottsdale Lexus is by no means the same since Earnhardt acquired the dealership in 2012 and branded it as Earnhardt Scottsdale Lexus.
