So Happy I found Scottsdale Paint and Body
This job was to repair a botched repair job on my brand new Lexus which had been rear-ended by some guy texting. (another story).
Kelvin Pugmire was the estimating supervisor and I immediately found him to be knowledgeable and easy to talk to. this was the case throughout the entire repair process. He is excellent at returning calls and kept me informed.
While I never met the team that worked on the car, I wa... view morent to say a big thank you to them as they did a fine job.
No one wants to have their car damaged but if you ever want to have it back in prime condition then I recommend you go see this shop.
Even Michelle at the front desk is a delight!
Thanks to all.

Highly Recommend! Very Happy
I was immensely happy with the service I received from Scottsdale Paint and Body, and even happier with the attention I received from Robert Silver who is the estimator that I had dealt with. When I wrecked my ?ˆ?04 Jetta I was stressed out of my mind with how much time it was going to take out of my schedule, but I was surprised at how headache free the whole thing was. Robert worked directly with my insurance compan... view morey, and even picked up my car, so I didn?ˆ™t miss a beat. It was great!

At one point I had to stop by the body shop and pick up some belongings I had left in the car. When I got there I was promptly greeted with a smile, and Robert escorted me into the shop to where my car was. When he opened the shop door I was shocked at how clean everything was! It was spotless! Truly amazing! I was also given a little mini tour, and got to see the paint booths, and different types of racks they use, like the one they use to check frame alignment. It was very interesting. It was ever more assurance that my car was in capable hands. On my way out we stopped at the GM?ˆ™s office. He thanked me personally for choosing to work with them, and thanked me for the business. When does that ever happen these days?!

Working with Scottsdale Paint and Body, I truly felt like a valued customer. I am so thankful for the great service, and thrilled with the quality of work performed on my Jetta. I highly recommend Scottsdale Paint and Body. Working with them was easy, and my car looks fantastic!!

Scottsdale Paint & Body Rocks!
Someone rear-ended my car. I needed the bumper replaced. Scottsdale Paint & Body made the entire process smooth and easy. I was picked up in a rental car, kept updated on the process of my car`s repairs, the job looked brand new, the car was beautifully detailed and everything was done in a very timely manner. I will keep going to Scottsdale Paint & Body if needed and definitely recommend them to everyone!

My BMW was better than new...
Last fall I ran my brand new BMW 528i into my mailbox trying to avoid an animal. I have NEVER even scratched my car and I managed to hit the vehicle into not only a mailbox but a CEMENT MONOLITH of a mailbox. I also discovered later that I managed to hit in in just that place where it had damage on both doors and the rocker panel. UGH! My insurance agent and my boss both recommended Scottsdale Paint and Body (a... view morend more specifically Mr. Scott O) and I am a very happy camper. Scott was genuine, he listened to my needs and concerns. When it came to the time for estimates, I assumed there would be a struggle between my insurance company and the body shop, but no - everything was seamless and easy. I picked up my car earlier than expected, and couldn`t have been happier with the work. I wasn`t thrilled with the fact that I NEEDED to go to a body shop, but after having this experience, I will recommend this one to everyone that I can! Thanks

Audi finest!
I recently had my 2008 Audi RS4 repaired through Scottsdale Paint and Body. I must say I had high expectations as I had heard about Penske?ˆ™s reputation. When I was received at the front door, I found a comforting and jovial receptionist who was more than efficient. The appraiser who walked out with me explained the repair process thoroughly and forewarned me of all that could go on throughout the repair process. Then... view more I was given a mini tour of the facility. WOW what a shop! Huge and immaculate ?ˆ“ you could almost eat off the floor. The repair process was lengthy, but when I got it back the car was near show room ready. Then even vacuumed and shinned the wheels. My wife and I could not even see where the work had been preformed. Bravo Scottsdale Paint and Body!

Bad Experience
I chose Scottsdale Body and Paint because I thought that they were connected with Penske`s exotic dealerships located in Scottsdale. I had one of their representitives look at my 2003 Porsche C4S with a Techart body kit to have it prepped and painted and I was given a quote.

I had four other bids on this work and they fell about in the middle. Before I made my decision I contacted the representitive again and... view more asked him to make sure that his quote included all that I was looking for and that I would be notified if there were any unseen conditions discovered while the work was being done.

I agreed to fly into town (I have a second home here) to have the car pick up by a repitable towing company and have it delivered to their shop which I understood was on the premisses where Penske`s showrooms are located.

The driver carefuly picked up the car and i told him that I would meet him at the shop to drop it off. I drove to Lamborghini expecting the truck shortly behind me but it never showed up. After waiting around for an hour or so this is where I found out that the shop was located elsewhere.

After much to do I located the shop and spoke with another representitive that was appearently assigned my job and he was also involved with the discussion regarding all the work that was to be done so that he was up to speed on the project.

We discussed my expectations and when I left there were no issues on the table.

Days later I get a calll and I am told that the quality of the fiberglas bumpers needed much more attention than originally figured to look good in black and that the adhesive supplied with the rocker panels is the wrong material and cannot be painted. They now needed to refigure the job and would get back to me.

Two days later I get a call an I am basically being told all of the parts and work are junk and it all needs to come off and be redone. I do not think that there is any reason to dispute the reputation of the vendors I purchased the parts from and the cost.

I am also told that the job is going to cost three times as much. I declined and had to rehire the tow truck to pick up my car as well as make another trip out to receive it. The towing was over $600.00 in itself not factoring my expenses.

So I get the car home this evening and I am going over it thinking it looks pretty good. Fiberglass is fairly easy to take the imperfection out but the sealer that they where so adamint about it being used obviously still posed a problem.

So I get the tube and start reading what it is all about.

This is a product produced in Germany specifically for bonding body parts and is used by Techart on all of their kits. It is paintable and contains no silicone what so ever. It has the ability to be rubbed down and polished.

This has cost me 3 weeks of time, several hundreds of dollars and the agrivation factor is off the chart at this point.

Robert of Scottsdale Body and Paint obviously does not know what he is talking about. He has no business in working in this industry at least with exotic cars and is an absolute baffoon in my book.

From what I can see these guys make their money off of insurance claims and I am sure that end of the industry attracts a specific talent that provides the least service for the most money.

Being a member of sixspeedonline which is a world wide forum for owners and vendors of exotic automobiles I have already shared portions of my experience and the reponse has been unanamous that business like this should not be tolarated.

I am a decent guy and I don`t go looking for charity. I just wanted a fair job for a fair price and I think that is something we should all expect these days.

A quality shop
My Mini Cooper was beat up pretty badly by a big truck. They did a great job making it new again. They went to bat for me and my Mini with the insurance company to make sure the job was done right. I was kept informed regularly as to the progress and challenges presented. My thanks to Ron Coley and the entire staff for a job well done.

Excellent work, friendly staff
They recently repaired my VW which was struck on the rear quarter, doors and rocker. They welded new a quarter panel and rocker, and replaced the passenger doors. I was worried about the paint as silver is difficult to blend, but it looks immaculate. I could not find any evidence that someone even touched it other than the taillamp being tightened down a little too much and some minute wax residue along the trim. ... view more They also were able to refinish the wheel which has a tricky machined finish with painted accents.. it looks fantastic. Now I need the other three refinished so that they look new too. lol I can easily recommend this shop and there should be no reservations about their work. The garage is loaded with Bentleys, Audis and other upmarket euro cars so they can definitely handle anything you throw at them. Beyond that, the staff was all very friendly and even let me wait in the lobby after hours for my ride.
