Great Place!

We were looking for a truck and we found a great one here at Big Two Toyota. The truck was sweet, the salesman, Rob, was the best, and the price was below blue book. The employees were very friendly and professional. We were very happy with our purchase. We will come back here when we have another car need.

Poor Customer Service/Con Artist

I had to replace a brake light on my highlander and called several toyota dealers in the east valley to schedule an appointment. Gilbert/202 is the closest to my house and they were least busy. I spoke w/ the service tech "JOE" and he tells me that there will be a $33 labor fee for replacing a $6 bulb. little did he know that 5 min before I called chandler toyota I also called tempe toyota. Tempe was too... view more far so I didnt want to make the drive during lunch hour,but they were willing to replace it for FREE! Why would one dealership charge and the other one doesnt?? I found out that they are independently owned and the chandler toyota came from mesa dealership which had issues w/customer service before moving to gilbert/202. I WILL NEVER GOT TO BIG TWO TOYOTA OF CHANDLER EVER AGAIN!!! They tried to screw me out of $33 so I could only imagine what they do totcustomers that plan to purchase or have repairs done at this location. I ended making the drive to tempe and the work was done in less than 2 min.

Big Two Toyota is a joke , the salesman smelled like he had a pound of marijuana in his pocket, the "desk manager " and her husband sell oxycotin and ecstasy throw the dealership, to customers and the employees... bad joo joo stay away and go to a reputable place. One where the sales staff doesn?ˆ™t brag about their illegal drug sales.

Dishonest and Money Grabbing

I took my 2002 Camry into Big Two Toyota because of a clunking sound coming from under the hood. I was told that I needed a $7,000 transmission (the car had 90,000 miles at the time). I decided to get a second opinion, so I took my car to another independent shop almost 50 miles away at the recommendation of a friend. That shop looked under the hood and told me that there was nothing wrong with the transmission, but ... view morethat the motor mounts were broken and needed to be replaced. The long and short of it was that it cost me $700 to get the motor mounts replaced and we`ve driven 25,000 miles without any transmission problem AND the noise is gone. A year later, I took the Camry into Big Two (stupid me) for a 4-wheel alignment as our local independent could not do the alignment. Instead of an $85 job, I was told that I needed $2,400 in additional work BEFORE they would do the original work requested. Needless to say, I`m getting a second opinion. If you choose to have work done here, watch out for the scare tactics they use to try to get more work. This is especially important with the economic downturn as they have been laying people off and are now desperate for money!
