All I can say is WOW! I absolutely love this place. I read prior reviews on city search about Express Tune-Up and by nature chose them based on what was said about them. The people here are "down to earth" and like a family, while I was waiting for my car to have the tires rotated and my oil changed I got to talk to a couple of customers who also were waiting. I told the couple in the lobby it was my first... view more time here and asked them their opinion, they said they`ve been coming here for 3 1/2 years & have never had a complaint about service or performance. I`d have to agree, even though I only had a basic service done and was in no need of other maintenance or repairs I was very happy with my experience. The guy in the office, Shawn was hilarious, when he walked out into the shop (the radio was on) he`d start singing (loudly) omg, too funny. I hope he doesn`t quit his day job, lol. but seriously, I`m definately coming back when I need more work done, the atmosphere and environment are amazing and I`ve never had such a good time waiting for my car anywhere else.

I found my Mechanic for life

I was told by the dealer during a warranty repair issue that my brakes were metal to metal and unsafe to drive. I told them ok ill take it to my normal shop.I took it to Express and told Shawn and showed him the paperwork from the dealer.He said ok and he would call me with an estimate .I went home and 1 hour later Rebekah called me and told me it was ready and to come pick it up.When i arrived i was told brakes sti... view morell had decent life left and the only real issue was that the rear brakes were a little out of adjustment so they adjusted them and test drove . I was prepared to spend money but was not happy with the 300+ estimate from the ford dealer and now im glad i went here .Cost me 25 dollars to be treated HONESTLY as opposed to over 300 to be ripped off because Im a female .I have learned ford is only good for warranty work and to be honest i worry about that now too. On a side note: Not sure who Jose works for but it sounds like he works for a competitor and is paid to slander other people . I find your remarks to be offensive and unwarranted after i have been here a few times I also find them to be LIES. If you have a problem here its probably because of YOU!

Finally a place you can trust!

When I first drove up, I noticed the sign out front. It said ""trust is earned"". Well, this place has earned my trust! I took my car in a month ago to Fletcher`s because the check engine light came on. I had already been to Big O for the ""free"" diagnostic and knew which codes were coming up. Fletcher`s charged me $90 for the same diagnostic because they `didn`t just pull codes, they find the problem`--only th... view moreey didn`t. They wanted to charge me $90 AN HOUR to diagnose it. So why did I pay the original $90 again???? I left $150 poorer in a car with the check engine light on, brakes that still squeak (even though they ""fixed"" them), and a tune up where they didn`t even put enough oil in the car or top off the other fluids. As a single mom it is hard to know where to turn when you car needs a tune up, let alone when it has a problem! Well, I know where to go now!!! The staff at Express were friendly and honest. They directed me BACK to the place I bought my car to have the brakes fixed under warranty when they could have easily fixed them for me and charged me. They took the time to find the actual problem instead of just randomly replacing the 3 parts that COULD have been the problem. This place saved me a ton of money and I am forever grateful. Express Tune Up & Lube earned my trust and I won`t be taking my car anywhere else.

Top quality mechanics who care and are affordable

Imagine a garage that takes pride in getting the job done right for a fair price. Unreal you say? Well today in Tucson there is such a place, Sean and his wife Rebekah care about the customer and their wallet. Regardless of age, gender or knowledge about cars and trucks Sean is going to tell you what is wrong and fix only that problem. He will tell you what else needs to be done and even explain how to do it yourself... view more if you want but he is not going to add on other junk to your bill. No recommendation is to high for this family business. Get all your vehicles fixed and maintained here.

Honest, dependable with knowledge and concern for customer satisfaction and value

Express Tune and Lube gets 5 stars because of the wonderful job and customer service. I had my battery replaced and they honor a warranty if it doesn`t work within a specified time. I also had to get some O2 sensors that they suggested I should ask my Toyota dealership if they cover it under my extended warranty and it covered the damaged one...they took care of the rest and made sure my car wouldn`t break down. No o... view morene had ever suggested that to me (to inquire from Toyota so I don`t pay more than I should). Most places are interested in trying to drain as much money from you. Shawn and his crew were interested in making sure I had my car up and running without overspending. It`s in excellent condition. Thank you. I`d recommend you go there before other places.

Saved me alot of money and headaches .TRUST and HONESTY say it all!!!!!!!!!!

Im not one for sitting down and yapping but i must say these guys are IT! There sign says""
OUR HONESTY SAVES YOU MONEY"" and they werent lying.I have a jeep grand cherokee that had packrats get to it ,it still ran but rough.I had it at several shops including Pep Boys and then Checkers for the FREE evaluation.WOW anything but free!! I was told everything from new injectors and o2 sensors to a new wiring harness... view more and a new Brain because the packrats shorted mine out and all the wires were hanging down.
The guys at Express took it in after i said i needed a new pcm and told me i would better off letting them diag it and tell me what i needed .Ofcourse they didnt have the free diag i did pay for that but they came back with only needing an o2 sensor and install plus the diag.As for all the wires hanging down...well that was string that had blown up and gathered around the bottom of my truck,they removed all that for free.lol
All i can say is thanks guys i do truly appreciate your integrity .

Great customer service, nice lobby w/ tv.

My boyfriend is usually the one who does all my mechanic work for my car. But last week his shop was swamped and I only needed an oil change so he told me to just find a place and get it done. I came in to Express to get my oil done, but had to wait about 40 minutes bacause they had other cars first. After my oil had been done the guy up front gave me the bill and told me of a few other things that I should be aware ... view moreof. Like my transmission fluid was brown and I should get a service soon, also that my brakes were in need of repair soon. I just listended to him like "" yeah right uh huh"" ""more money"". But after I left a couple days later one of the mechanics at my boyfriends shop looked at my car to give me a second opinion. He said the Express Tune up man was serious. I did need brakes and a transmission service. Of cource I had it done at my boyfriends shop because I get a discount ,But I have to say I was so impressed with Express and thankful for their honesty. They didn`t try to pressure me into getting the work done, he just said what I needed and let me on my way. My boyfriend called over to talk to the guy in charge to thank him, and now I know if I am ever in a pickle again with scheduling I have another shop I can count on.

If you want it done right and HONESTLY this is the place

I stopped in on a weekend but they had the doors open cleaning i guess,the manager Shawn asked me whats i needed and i proceeded to tell him what the other shop had told me was wrong with my car and how much they needed to charge me to fix my cars check engine light and stalls sometimes at stops .He told me it didnt sound like there fix and cost of fix was what my car needed and that he had seen this similar c... view moreomplaint before.He opened my hood sprayed something and put it back together and told me to come back during the week to see if it stopped stalling and he would look at the check engine light then.So i left without him taking any money and sure enough the car never stalled and on tuesday he fixed my check engine light for less than half of what the other shop wanted and he didnt do what they were recommending .
These guys are GREAT,FUN,and most of all HONEST i found my new mechanic for life .Thanks Guys.
