Horrible, horrible, horrible!

I`d give this place 0 stars if I could. Paid them to break the engine, apparently. The car drove in fine by itself but we had to get it towed to get it out. They quoted us $1,100 to fix it, their discounted price. Yeah, right. Turns out it needed a sensor replaced and the timing adjusted. What a rip-off and shoddy work. Turns out it wouldn`t start because they only halfway put it back together. Sadly, it was supposed... view morely the owner who worked on our vehicle. Good Work and Reliable

Took my 66 mustnag there after my father referred them since he used them years back many times for his cars when he worked on them. They gave me th same great service and took care of me quickly and for a great price. I would reccomend them for electric and any other needs you may get taken care of there. Ask for John he is great knowledgable guy.

Guess they thought cuz I was a girl....

My 1992 Nissan Sentra had a slight meltdown & was not operable. After calling Elliotts Auto on the advice of my nephew (wait until I get a hold of him) I decided to have the car towed there for work. I left a detailed letter on the drivers seat as to needing the wiring harness between the passenger headlight & cooling fan. Also from the battery to the cooling fan. Elliotts Auto failed to inform me of their 86.50 ... view more""diagnostic fee"" until the car was in their possession. Elliotts contracts with a local towing co. so my bill was slightly over 200 bucks before being worked on. I figured if it wasn`t too expensive of a job that they would waive their fee. Especially since I was the one that told them what was wrong. I knew that I was in trouble when the man (unsure who it was) started talking that repairs would probably come to more than the value of the car. I was quoted a price of $899 which included the towing & diagnostic fee. I declined their work & had a friend drive me to Elliotts so I could pay off the $200 bill. Upon arriving I noticed the hood of my car was up and I took a look. Funny thing----every wire was exactly as I had left it before towing. Now here`s the real kicker. As soon as the man got done introducing himself, he had the audacity to say, ""We can call this bill even if you want to give me the pink slip to your car."" His ""diagnostic"" report read, ""after lengthy inspection this vehicle needs a wiring harness to bring it back to stock condition"". What I told him was more detailed than what he told me & I`m the one that`s paying $86.50. Now, if this was such a lengthy inspection how come these guys failed to find a wire that was not making contact back by the emissions system? It`s my belief that they lifted the hood and said, ""Yep, it needs a wiring harness"". I`m so sick of men that think women know nothing about cars & can be ripped off. By the way, I got a wiring harness from a junk yard for $75 and a friend put it in for $150.

Against my better judgement.

I used Elliott`s about 20yrs ago. It`s just not the same. The place it not well kept and looks disorganized. I had two power points and one window repaired. Went to pick up the next morning 8:05am (they open at 8am) there was only one shop guy there and he didn`t know what to do for me to pay. At 8:55am another employee shows up that has never processed a ticket but started to write numbers down that came up over ... view more$550.00. Seemed a little pricy for two fuses and a window motor. He could not give me a break down of charges. (shop fees, parts, labor, tax etc.) after an hour I was just ready to get out of there. I`m sure the work they do is fine but they are NOT business minded.

I still can`t tell

John was very friendly but I walked out of there wondering if I got screwed over. My car is still not fixed and the diagnostic which was advertised at $86.70 turned out to be $170. John explained that it was because they had to take some stuff apart. As my friend asked - ""Does your doctor charge you to take your clothes off before a medical exam!!???""
