My family and myself have always used Sommers glass for our window, screen and windsheild repair. In the past we always received fast, quality and freindly service.
Unfortunantly, that is gone.
6 months ago my husband had a windsheild replaced and a week later it was leaking. They fixed it, I figured it was a fluke.
Two weeks ago our second vehicle also needed a new windsheild. We took it in to Somme... view morers. Left the tape on 24 hrs as they ask and took tape off 36 hrs later. On the way to work, wind was blowing through the window....right at our face! We took it back that afternoon. We were first asked if we left the tape on..are you kidding me!? After we had to take them for a test drive to hear and feel the wind, they said it had to be re-done. We had to wait until a new windshield and molding was ordered in case it broke pulling it back off. We went through all that, went back in and instead of being priority..we were told about how busy they were and they would not be able to get to it for a couple of hours. We decided to leave it...a BIG mistake! Instead of pulling the windsheild and CORRECTLY fixing it, all the guy did was poor more glue in the hole. Only one week later it rained and rain was pouring all through the headliner and on the steering wheel column. Went back to Sommers 30 minutes before close, but they would not repair it then, but in the morning.....
We had to return AGAIN...now on our 4th visit back to Sommers (for a windsheild). Now having to request to leave work early twice and be late to work today....all for a windsheild replacement.
All of this has been a huge inconvenience, but the reason I chose to write the reveiw....Sommer`s Glass, not once has apologized. They did give a loaner car today so I could go to work late, but not once has Mrs. Sommers, the manager or any of the employees apologized for the shotty work, instead they acted put out. :/
Sommers failed in quality, timely and the friendly service they have been known for in Casa Grande for years. Very sad and I must say we will be searching for a new place for our glass needs and will be advising our family to consider the change too.
