(Very) poor service.
Since I am not able to find a link for Mirage Motors I will use this site, I am sure Mirage will get it. I want to share with anyone from AOL that reads this, (Please) beware of buying any type of vehicle from Mirage Motors. I purchased an RV within the last year from this business and what a con job they did on me. I will not say the type of RV purchased or exactly when I bought it for obvious reasons. Anyway, I wa... view mores made several promises about getting said vehicle ready for the road because they wanted to make me happy and be sure I was safe. Hahaha, what a joke. I found out the exaust for the generator was directly under the vehicle instead of going outwards, do these people not realize what carbon monoxide can do do a person if it gets inside the vehicle??? I had that fixed. The battery for the generator was the cheapest brand possible and went bad, I had that fixed. A very cheap brand of tires was used on this vehicle, I had that fixed. There was no carbon monoxide detector on the inside, I had that fixed. The sewer pipes had become detached, I had that fixed. Both air conditioners needed work, I had that fixed. The awning was in need of repair, I had that fixed. There was no sewer hose for the sewer pipes, I had that fixed. There were a couple other problems here and there but it basically all boils down to the fact that I had this all fixed at my expense when it should have been done by them. I suppose some of the blame can be my fault as I didn`t check everything out to begin with but there again, I was made promises and they were not kept to me. What if I had been going down the road in the vehicle and something happened because of their not checking out all these things that were wrong and making them correct? I guess they did not want to absorb the cost of having all the work done and they were in a hurry to get it off of the lot?? Also with the replacement of the awning which they said was in good shape the total costs for all these repairs to the vehicle has come to the amount of almost 10 grand. Please check any vehice over very carefully if you decide to buy from them and make sure they absorb all costs of making whatever vehicle is chosen for purchase so it can be safe for you and your family. These people will say anything to get rid of their vehicles and try to get you to absorb the costs. This is a business that is run very poorly and I will not reccomend them to anyone and will never buy from that place again.
