I`ve taken my vehicles to Hometown Transmission and Auto Repair for a number of years and have appreciated their honesty and great quality of work done on my vehicles. I love that they are family-owned and operated and I`m sure and know that`ll be here the next time I need work done on my car. Thank you for being such an honest shop. I really do trust them and appreciate all that they`ve helped me with over the years... view more. Sandy P.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
1. i called to see if they take amex. they said yes...as does their yellowpages ad. i had over $3000 in work done and they tell me they dont take it.
2. i had transmission work done on my honda crv. the costs came to $2997. not only did it take over 3 weeks. within a week of having my car back my check engine light came on....and i had gears STILL jumping. so really...problems i did not have prior were now presen... view moret.
after taking my car BACK in the owner bruce says "oh we just to tweek it a little bit". WHAT??? tweek it? you did $3000 in service to my car, had it for three weeks and it needed to be tweeked.
3. my check engine light that came on after picking up my vehicle...they told me that it was the transmission sensor that tells the tranny when to swtich gears. well, why was it all of a sudden broke after getting it back from hometown but not before??? bruce says...its just chance. hahaha whatever. that sensor cost me another $200
4. now that ive had my car back after a 2nd time in the shop and a new part that mysteriously broke...its jumping and not switching gears properly. im under warranty but only with them. im soooo dreading going back there and not having my car for another week at least.
