The most honest and reliable auto repair shop I have even done business with. I took my vehicles to Cottman for years while I lived in Racine, and every time I was pleased with the service. I was always told up front everything that would need to be done-what was completely necessary and what could wait. I was given honest advice about whether going forward with repairs was worthwhile or whether it was time to look f... view moreor a new vehicle. Actual costs where always less than or equal to the estimates. In fact, on one occasion, I was given an estimate and when he started working on it he discovered he just needed to un-stick something that had gotten stuck (I`m not a car girl, so that`s as technical as I can get); he didn`t charge me a dime. I`ve always thought about writing this review, but never quite got around to it. I`m writing today after being completely screwed over by a shop here in Kenosha. It prompted me to think about how much I miss about being able to take my car to Cottman. I was always confident in the quality of work I was receiving and the fairness of the pricing. If you live in the Racine area, I strongly recommend this shop, and if anyone knows a place in Kenosha where I can receive a similar quality of service, please let me know!
