Dropped off my Audi A4 on Thursday 5/2 at 9:30am for an exhaust leak. Spoke to the owner Pete. I received a call at around 2:00 that the car was "all fixed". I never received a call regarding the estimated cost of repair or what the job would entail. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle at 4:30, he showed me a piece of pipe that apparently had a leak in it and was repaired. The total was $65.00 and I was h... view moreappy with the fact it was repaired and even though I never received a call or granted permission to repair for that fee, I felt it was an acceptable amount. I paid and then received the keys to my car. After starting it I noticed that it was NO quieter than it was when I dropped it off. It had a clear "hissing and sputtering" sound. I took it around the block, which verified that either his repair had already not held up or he failed to repair it all together. I came back in to his place within 10 minutes to confront him about the exhaust leak that I had brought the car in for in the first place. His quote was "the car is quieter than it was when you brought it in". He obviously knew that he hadn`t repaired my exhaust leak. When I requested that he come outside and listen to it he hesitantly accepted my invite. He admitted he heard the exhaust leak and what I was referring to, but informed me that this is OUT OF HIS ABILITY TO REPAIR! I would have to take it to the dealership to have that done! So what did I pay for and why wouldn`t he have callen prior to and attempt to repair to inform me this repair would be out of his ability. Instead, he charges me $65 and lies to his customer that indeed he fixed something, even if you can`t tell. No apologies, refunds, nothing! I`m in the hospitality business and I would have been bankrupt and out of business 10 years ago, treating our customers this way. I will ensure everyone I know in the community hears my experience because I believe people need to know when a business doesn`t practice integrity.

Highly Recommended

So far, I`ve been to this place twice with 2 seperate cars. The owner called me with eztimates and I was shocked to learn his price was far less than previously estimated from others. The company I work for has been using Lifetime Exhaust for years. I like that istead of telling me what to do (to get $), Life time Exhaust gives me options. Welder on site an extra +!!! Honest Facility

I have has my vehicles exhaust done here over the years, several different makes and models. I have found this facility to charge usually around the same price to put on a new exhaust system as it would cost me to purchase the parts and do it myself at home. Gee, if I am going to pay basically the same amount and not have to do the dirty work or changing an exhaust, all the rust and mess... why the heck would I w... view moreant to do it myself. This is a locally owned and operated business. I have always dealt with the same person every time I have been there. I would recommend Lifetime Exhaust to anyone looking for exhaust repair service.
