Our doors first opened in 1989 in a two-car garage in Rosholt, WI. It wasn;t long and we were cramped for space, so we moved to the West side industrial park in Stevens Point, WI. (Yes, we were the only business in that park!) But we soon outgrew that building and moved to our present location in 1992. In 2005, we expanded our services to include the repair, maintenance, and tuning of specialty and performance automobiles. To facilitate this addition to our services, we added a second location in Plover, WI. By the end of 2007, we had outgrown the Plover location, so we decided to remodel and expand our Stevens Point, Wi location to allow for both businesses to operate at one location. We moved the chassis dyno from Plover to the addition in Stevens Point, and we "lightened & brightened" our shop. This was completed in July of 2007. We have grown from one employee, to now employing 7 full-time and 3 part-time employees.

Lemon sold

I recently purchased a used Ford Taurus Wagon from Peshtigo Auto Sales by the owner Chuck. 3895 was the list price. I asked if he could come down on the price but he declined saying he needed that much to get back what he put into the car but that he would take my old 85 Cadillac in trade. While signing the paperwork he stated that there was a car fax on the car, but I never saw it. He told me that I had 90 days ... view moreto return the car if I was not happy with it. He also told me he would give me full trade in value for it if I ever decided to trade up because he "was really proud of the car". Three days after getting the car it wouldn`t start. When I called Chuck very upset to be stranded he insisted that I must have left something on or not had gas in it. He treated me like a total idiot. After several phone calls to him and calls to him from my Dad he had two people drive to Green Bay to pick it up. He ended up replacing the starter. Since then I have had major and minor problems with the car and have had it back there for them to fix. Chuck feigns surprise each time like he can`t believe I am having problems with it. I`ve told him several times that I no longer want the car that it is a lemon! I found a hole under the gas pedal that had been covered up by a car mat. The lights on dash don`t work even though he said they replaced the bulbs. Also the rear door panel fell off as I was washing the windows. None of this was disclosed to me. And today Chuck advised me not to bring the car back to him, but to have a second party diagnos the problem. Of course I will have to pay for this out of my own pocket. I feel that this problem could have been handled by taking the car back and standing by the product he is selling. Also I feel that he is treating me like I am stupid. I feel like he wanted my money so bad and now that he has it, it`s my problem. I think he is dishonest and I would warn anyone of doing business with someone who doesn`t stand behind their product or their words.
