Do not trust the customer serv...

Do not trust the customer service department. Purchased a new Escape from dealer and was told oil changes where recommended (same thing listed in manual) for 7,500 miles. At 3000 miles the oil change message came on. Thought I better have this checked so took it in for an oil change with no issue. At another 3000 miles the same message came on and stays posted. Call the service manager to inquire why this was happeni... view moreng and was told they set it that way. No other explanation given. Asked him how to change it and he said he doesn`t know how and I should read the manual. The first and last time I take the car to this dealer.

Customer Service?

I went with my brother to purchase a vehicle for his family. The salesman was exceptionally nice, and i really appreciated how friendly he was and honest, but once we went to discuss the financing with the business manager things rapidly fell apart. He was rude, and had no respect for those of us in his office. In fact, he said in not so many words that WE (the customers) came into his office with a bad attitude. ... view moreHello? Did they forget that they were trying to convince us to purchase a car? Did they think we thought we couldnt walk away still at this point? Had it been a vehicle for myself, I would have left immediately, but my brother desperately needed this vehicle, so another business manager came in and settled matters, treated us alot more respectfully, and even got us to laugh. Personally, knowing that this gentleman is working in this store, I will not return to it because I do not want to go through that again.
