Responding to the person complaining about getting tires from a salvage yard. First buying used tires in any shape or form is just not very smart.Think about it your traveling 55 mph, 70 mph if your me, and your relying something previously owned. Second when you buy something "used" in any of the fifty states, its yours. Third, junk yards a just that, one of the last true American enterprises. It`s an unwr... view moreitten rule that you bring cash. Forth, when person walks into a junk yard they should have some basic knowledge of the repair they are performing. Wheels and rims can be tricky, take a paper plate and trace the bolt pattern of the rim you need to replace. Take measuring tape and make some measurements too.

Siegel`s Recycling
I was doing some calling around for parts for my car and Siegel`s was the very most reasonable. I was capable of going and taking the part off myself, considering it was very easy to get at. The gentlemen there were very helpful and knowledgable as well. I prefer to pay in cash and was not distraught by this at all and understood I was getting a used part, having never had problems buying used before, I was very a... view moret ease about my purchase. I will be going back soon, if anything else happens to my A to B driver.

BEWARE: This business is extre...
BEWARE: This business is extremely shady. Doesn`t deserve even 1 star but had to give it something. No receipts, checks, or plastic only CASH so when you have a problem, no proof. Wonder how they report their transactions/income? Paid for spare tire & rim & 2 good used tires put on MY rims. Less then 30 days later, 1 flat tire & spare doesn`t fit trailer. They had my trailer so no excuse for selling me a ... view morespare that doesn`t fit my trailer. Flat tire was due to tire pulling away from rim, no seal. Their response: they did the work over 60 days ago: they have a sign above counter "All Sales Final, You Pull It, You Own It" I didn`t pull anything, they did all the work AFTER I called in advance explaining what I wanted/needed and they telling me they could do what I needed done. One person said it was past 30 days, within 2 minutes, same person said no warranties on any work. Now I have a spare tire I can`t use, & had to pay Fleet Farm $16 for fixing the flat. Over & over again was told that I purchased the tires more than 60 days ago but no one has any proof and I know exactly when they did it and it was September 30th. I asked for a receipt at time of payment, was told they don`t do receipts. I DO NOT recommend patronizing this business!! There are plenty of other recycling businesses in the area, I would definitely NOT use this one. Reporting them to the IRS and State Tax Dept, along with BBB and telling as many people as I can about my experience.
