So I find out my breaks are shot go to uniques because it close. I get there and have the guy inspect the truck. 30 mins later the guy who looks like an ex felon con artist (forget his name but he is ugly with scars scattered all on his face and light brown eyes) well he comes out looking sad and tells me "youre brakes are shot"(no crap sherlock homeboy) I said ok how much? He begins to tell me all this extra stuff I... view more would need and strted rambling on while typing in his computer and adding up the amount..He goes you`ll need: front brake pads, rotors, wheel alignment, calipers, ball joints, sway bar, just outrageous stuff (like I`m soooo stupid) So he finally gets threw crunching and punching in numbers and the grand total was almost $900!! For a measley brake job! (Mean while in my head I`m laughing at him) so he said "for you, I`ll cut a deal and do it for $550" .. I said ok but I need to go home and get the money, I dont have all the money on me(naive stupid) This fool asked me "how much you got on you?` I told him the amount and said I`ll just get my truck and come back..he got nervous that I might change my mind and kept asking was I sure I was coming back..I said yes (my mind was telling me no tho lol) he said he didn`t prefer I drive my truck with the brakes shot so he`ll keep my truck on the lift and arrange for me a ride to my house to get the rest of my money.(he wasnt concerned for my safety just my $) I said ok. About 5 mins later this (I kid you not) black shadow looking thugg comes in and gets me. I hop in his Jeep (come to find out it was one of the customers smh) and he is bumping loud music and driving fast.. I thought he was going to rob me. I told him where I stayed and he ended up taking the stupidest route to get there (its not far at all from the shop) he was very mean and you can tell he`s one of those ugly ghetto but cockyy types..Anywho I get home and I knew at that point I wasn`t getting the money. My common sense kicked in. I called up my down the street mechanic and he quoted me far less than that.. so I hop back in the Jeep and get sped back to the shop. I tell them I`ll just pay the 35 for the inspection and he looks at me crazy and says why. I said no reason..so then somehow the manager finds out that I no longer want the work done and he comes and ask me whats wrong. I said I just got a mechanic thatll do it way cheaper. So he asks me how much was I quoted I told him and he went and confronted the bumm that tried to hustle me. He tried to hold his composer but I could tell that he was salty in his face and upset that I didnt fall in his trap. So I agreed on the price that the manager gave me and about a half hour later my car was fixed (but yet it needed sooo much done ..I belive they just slapped some cheap brakes on there) so AFTER it gets fixed the manager tells me that the warranty was only for a month and he garrunteed me that those brakes wont last too long..I just paid and left.. I`m shocked that this place hasnt burned to the ground. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT GO HERE FOR NOTHING!!!!DISREGARD ANY GOOD THING YOU HEAR ABOUT THIS PLACE AND RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN!!!!! IT HAS MANY COMPLAINTS AND IS RATED A F FROM THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU..they look at every customer as a dollar sign especially if you are a woman you will be used and abused and taking for everything you have! please beware!!

Not all the Automotive Technic...

I`m not saying Unique Custom Car Care is exceptional, but the technicians who worked for the company were great! In fact the technicians weren`t bad mechanics at all. This business was just managed unprofessionally. That includes ordering, management, pay raises or getting paid on scheduled pay dates. The owners I think took advantage of the employees dependency of this company as leverage over whether you`ll remain an employee or get paid according to how you perform as a follower rather than a leader. I wanted to help this company, along with others who worked for this company wanted to help get this company out of debt and make this job a reliable permanent placement. Not doing accordingly with profits and deposits may have cause this company to close permanently. This review is to you who came to Unique Custom Car Care and claim to have had a bad experience. I recently had work done on my car and the man who did the work on my car(Ike)was very nice and he worked with and was very patient with me so I recommend that if you take your car there to ask for Ike
