on 10/ 19 / 12 I stopped in at Broadway tire, Jim Strut ( the manager) told me that there`s nobody in front of me and they could get me in right away for a tire patch. and that is the only take 15/20 minutes or so. an hour and a half later. the tire mechanic came back around with my truck. they had the wheels switched around on the Dooley. so I had ummatched wheel showing? needless to say I was pretty upset at the t... view moreime I already been waiting. I went out front and aggressively raise my voice at the mechanic, ask him why he would do something so foolish. he told me so I can keep a eye on the patch???. the patch is on inside of the tire. I told him to take it back right away and switch the tires around the way they were when I brought it to them. the mechanic raised his arms, walked away, got into my truck, slamed the door, and aggressively drove off to the back of the building. the manager brought back up my truck. right away I noticed that my shifter was loose, and my steering column was cracked, from what appears to be the shifter being forced in the park. I also noticed that my rim was scratched up from it being put on the inside against the drum. they told me that the repair was free, that they were not going to charge me. they would not issue me receipt. I talked with Ken Schmidt ( the owner) he told me that he couldn`t deal with it because his brother is in hospice and dying. I took my truck to another shop to have them check the work. the tire was 15 pounds under inflated. and 2 of the 8 lug nuts were loose. so basically I got a scratched up rim and a busted steering column/ geat shifter lever out of it.

DO NOT EVER GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE

The worst car service experience I have ever had. The worst customer service I have ever had. They do extremely shady work at every location!!! I cannot stress to the general public enough, TO NEVER GO HERE!!! This business tries to get away with doing faulty work on cars. I know a lot about cars, so when they tried to pull off some faulty work I called them out on it, their solution was to yell at me!!! I feel bad for people that do not know much about cars and take their word as truthful. Ken Schmidt the owner is the worst!!! The most unprofessional business owner I have ever met! A complete rip off artist. Again people please save yourself and pick a different automative place to get your car fixed. I cringe at the thought of anyone going through what I had to deal with. owner ken schmidt lies, trys to commit fraud

On July 29th Jeff a counter person at Broadway Tire Monona went to jail. Leaving in his desk a car titled in my name and signed by me. He had put the car on craigs list to sell himself. With Jeff gone the owner Ken
Schmidt titled the car to Broadway Tire w/out any permission by me or Jeff. I called the police who made 2 trips and was lied to by Adam the counter manager and by ken Schmidt who claimed to have conse... view morent by Jeff. Jeff sent several letters to ken and Adam requesting the title to no avail. I had to hire an attorney to get Ken schmidt to return the title. This process took over 4 months to resolve .I would NEVER recommend Broadway Tire at any location to anyone. The owner lied and tried to obtain a car illegally.. Do you think he conducts his business honestly when he himself is unscrupulous? t.s.
