Not impressed at all.. Ben had my car for about three months. He was never in the shop and wouldn`t return calls. He charged me $500 for replacing a timing belt tensioner and diagnosing the fuel system. The car ran rough when I took it to the shop and didn`t run at all when I picked it up. He said he couldn`t figure out what was wrong with the car but knew of somebody who wanted to buy it. This seemed kinda shady to ... view moreme... so, I took the car home. I ended up finding a burnt wire in the harness. Once I repaired the wire the car ran great for about 15 minutes then quit. By this time I was very frustrated and asked around if anyone knew of another VW repair shop. Long story short I took it to another shop and they found the problem. The tensioner that Ben replaced was not tightened enough and the cam was jumping time. This other shop charged me $150 and was very professional and honest, Unlike Ben`s. I`ll never take anything there again. -Also, I think this shop should get a negative star rating

Finally got around to writing a review about this shop. If there`s something needing fixing on your VW, take it to Ben. His pricing, attitude, and quality of service will put most dealers to shame. He can be backed up quite a ways with his schedule, but I wonder why that is? Maybe because his customer base is loyal. As long as I own a VW, I`ll be taking it to Ben. End of story.

Saved me from out of pocket ex...
Saved me from out of pocket expenses. After some research, Ben told me that my issue was likely covered by warranty and it should be taken to the dealership. Sure enough, it`s covered by an extended warranty, and Ben didn`t make a dime off of me. For that reason alone, he will be the first person I call when my next problem arises.
