Get a Hyundai Somewhere Else

I came in to get a Tuscon for my mom. We had no trade in and was not financing the car. We found the one we want pretty quick and took it for a test drive, etc. Over 5 hours later, we got to leave with the vehicle! Gurnee Hyundai was very unorganized and deceptive. We asked them for the registration paperwork and they lied to us saying that we didn`t need it. Um, the DMV disagrees. It`s been over a month... view more, and the registration paperwork still has not arrived and we cannot apply for new personalized plates until it comes in. Since this was a new vehicle, we wanted the rust protection and remote start options added. In order to get a price on that, we had to wait for another guy to come in and go over the options. After enduring his smoker breath, we got the options added and he said they`d call on Monday to schedule an appointment to install the options. A month later, we had to call in and schedule it. We got in that week since they were not busy. Oh, when they say you get a free tank of gas, don`t hold your breath. The salesman said when we come back to get the options added, ask for a gas card. We did ask and did not receive. Also, don`t buy any demo cars from them. If it has over 100 miles, don`t buy it. The sales teams use these as demos, etc and usually lose the keys, so you`ll get one set. They`ll try to charge you to cut another set. These keys are over $200. Everyone there was a waste of our time, never calls back, or didn`t know what they`re doing EXCEPT the new guy Leon. He would return calls, find info if he didn`t know, etc. Bottom line: Hyundai makes good vehicles, just don`t buy it here.
