great place for car repair

Could`nt get my car fixed went to to places and the dealer no one could find the problem. Jeff found the problem repaired it in one day thanks to them my car runs great again I will always come back to Bridge Automotive.

Jeff has been taking care of my cars for years now. I trust him to be honest. I have all my children`s cars checked with him first. He is very reliable and does good work. The best shop ln the north side by far!

Jeff was very pushy to sell me...

Jeff was very pushy to sell me another service which I didn`t need. I didn`t take it. We pretty much argued for a good 10 mins until he finally said, he will do what I asked. Isn`t that how it`s suppose to be? He`s a mechanic, but he underestimated my knowledge about cars. I`m not a certified mechanic, but have been working on my cars since I knew how to drive (age 16). I only took my car there because my car shiett... view moreed on me and Bridge happened to be the closest. Also because I didn`t have a welding machine at home. I had a clogged catalytic converter and Jeff tried selling me a diagnostic test for $50. $50 for a 5-10 min job? I brought my own catalytic converter for Jeff to replace the old, clogged one. 30 min job cutting old cat out and welding on new cat = $160. Rip-Off! I had no choice....Damn car wouldn`t move faster than 5 mph and driving to the next shop would take ages. Overall, the job was done, but for the cost, I wouldn`t go back nor would recommend the shop to anyone else unless they feel like tossing $$$ away. Even the freaking car dealer doesn`t charge $160 for a 30min job. If the car dealer wasn`t so busy that day, I would`ve went there...

Helps to understand!!

As a woman car repair is scarry. They were so nice, I had a big repair and they took the time to explain to me my issues. I was able to break down the repairs into 2 visits so that I could afford it. I had been to so many people before, and this was a real good experience!

Knowledgeable but Dishonest

Claimed to have changed parts that they did not change which caused more serious issues later. I recommend asking for original parts to be given back to customer upon completion. Also a $70.00 diagnositc charge with no equiptment, just a mechanic looking under the hood and making a judgement call is unacceptable. I will never return nor recommend this business. Is that worth $150.00???????????????????????
