Barry Chrysler is NOT a place I would recommend going. I had my dodge ram 2500 break down while I was at a concert over in Quincy and took it to their shop. Not only did I have to call them to finally get an answer on what was wrong with it, but they couldn`t even tell me what was wrong with the truck. They recommended that I get a new instrument cluster (gauges) and said that should fix the problem. Of course believ... view moreing they are the experts, and it was a cheaper price compared to shops in western Washington for a new instrument cluster, I told them to go ahead and put it in. They called me and told me the truck was all fixed and ready to go. So I made the three hour drive up there and started heading back home with the truck, only to find that the $700 part they had just put in, didn`t fix the problem and almost put my life in danger as I was coming thru the snoqualmie pass. Luckily I was able to make it home as the truck was constantly dying on me and took it into Tacoma dodge. They took a look at it and told me that the other dealership didn`t even car to check into the problem and only checked the trucks very basic analysis. Not looking into the wiring of the truck at all. If they had, they would have found that their was a short in air bag module and that was constantly shutting the truck off. So in conclusion, I would not take my truck their for ANY service. They do not care about their customers and especially the out of town customers.

Took my car into barry`s to diagnose an intermittent stalling problem. 2 days later they say it`s probably a security system problem or a computer problem. I ask them if I can pick up my car, they tell me no, damage has been done to the grille, so a week later I come back (after being told there were no diagnoses charges) I am slapped with a 123 dollar bill for them supposedly replacing my "aftermarker" bol... view moret on the positive battery cable. Seeing as how my car still has problems and that I NEVER AUTHORIZED THEM to do any work on my car.. I am not going to pay the 123 dollars they charged me for not even finding out what was wrong with my car - and keeping it 2 weeks.
