I have gone to meinke econo lube in tacoma for my car maintenence, for several years. After they changed management this year the quality of service has greatly diminished. I have never had a problem with a basic oil change, but don`t get anything more advanced than that done there. In march I had them replace my serpentine belt changed and it constantly screeched and squeaked. I had to go in 3 times for them to adju... view morest it before they ultimately changed the belt altogether. In june I had them flush my radiator and they did not burp the line and I made it a couple of miles before my car overheated, and had to go back so they could fix it. Then today I came in for a preferred oil change, which included a tire balance and rotation. I agai b made it a couple of miles before my car started making a thudding noise. I returned to meinke and was told they did not tighten m y lug nuts all the way. They then had to replace them and re thread my bolts because they were now stripped. I have tickets for pain in the grass and I might not make it. I asked the manager if they were only going to charge me for a basic oil change and he told me they were only obligated to repair the damages. Unfortunately this is going to be a $150 oil change. My tickets are none refundable and it`s to late to sell them. If you value your care, you safety, and time I would strongly suggest paying extra and going elsewhere. I gave them multiple chances due to my past experiences , which were far more pleasant with the other manager, but no more.

I have been here a few times. The prices are great and so is the service. Wait times can be long if you don`t get there early or on a weekday!!! I have had good experiences here!!!
