Reviews:

The car business has been deemed a dirty and unsavory industry for years; Chevrolet of Puyallup is challenging that notion. Out SUV was on it`s last leg and we needed a new car. When I visited the dealership Kevin Wagner, the salesman, was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He respected our budget and pointed, he helped us look up research on the vehicles we looked at, and made our decision easy. We decided on a new... view more Chevy Malibu from our previous research coupled with the help from Kevin. He listened to our needs and delivered on his promises. I begin to explain how impressed I was with every step of the process. When he brought his manager out I assumed it would be the beginning of "the old car approach" but I was wrong. Dean, the manager, was kind and helped my wife and I decide which bank structure we wanted. No pressure, no gimmicks. When we went into finance I thought, again, here comes the pressure, but it wasn`t there. Nicaela, the finance manager, was compassionate, explained our additional coverage options, and continued to make the purchase amazingly smooth. My view on auto dealers is forever changed and I will recommend Chevrolet of Puyallup to every person I know that is looking for a vehicle. I also never purchase another vehicle anywhere else.

Terrible Experience in Sales! Id go back to Gamblin of Enumclaw any day! Well worth the drive. I received a ridiculously deceptive letter formatted as if it was an email from the big cheese himself that stated "We need your specific vehicle. Its high demand! On average well pay $16,500 and possibly up to $19,700...We`ll even buy it straight out." "Signed Steve Zamberlin." Granted the marketing wa... view mores a bit unethical, but I thought I`d bite for the possibility of a good buy. Trade-in estimate upon arrival? (Keep in mind I have low mileage truck in great condition, with $1500 canopy, $600 running bars, $1000+ 20" chevy wheels)...drum roll... $11,000. Really? I didn`t even know what to say. I later came back to talk to Steve directly, thinking there was either a mistake or extremely deceptive marketing. Nope, "We might be able to do $12,000," Average value $16500. Up to $19,700. Actual offer $11-12k. Can`t imagine trying to actually BUY a car from these guys. ***Must say, I`ve had a very different experience with the service department. I`ve been taking my truck here for over a year, and the service team is great. It`s unfortunate there is such a contrast in customer service from service to sales.***

We were charged a diagnostic fee. I wasn t aware that was something that was needed these days, generally that fee is waived at most repair shops if the customer chooses to have the work done that was diagnosed. So if something goes wrong with the car, they have a computer read the code, the problem is then diagnosed. That takes minutes. How does that justify charging 89.00? This being said, we had a problem w... view moreith the car before this date and were informed that several things were wrong. We told them, the car was still under warranty and it should be covered. They didn t believe us about the warranty and said, it has nearly 100k miles on it, it can t still be under warranty. After we proved to them it was still under warranty they did the work. No diagnostic fee. This time around, I told them before they began work, that it was under warranty. They found issues that were not covered by the warranty, such as a fuel supply issue. They said the warranty is only a power train warranty and didn t cover the fuel supply issue. (Without fuel, there can be no power from the engine so I think it is a power train problem). They also found a leaking power steering pump. Also not covered because they said its not about of the power train. I get the distinct feeling that if they had seen an issue with the power train that was covered by warranty, they wouldn t say anything until it was fully malfunctioned in the hopes that the warranty would have expired by the time we brought it back in. They now know that the warranty will expire very soon. The car is at 99k miles. Our car is approaching the end of its warranty time. Its been reliable up until now. I get the feeling they are still upset about having to cover issues that were under warranty on that previous visit. I think when they told us the problems on the previous visit, they were not expecting the warranty to be still in force. I think had they known, they might have missed that problem.

Best experience
I resently traded in my car for a new Chevy Cruze at Cheverlot of Puyallup and had the best experience ever! Buying a new car can be an intimidating experience , not only as a woman but as a consumer in general. My salesperson Randy patient and a lot of fun. The owner/operator Shannon, actually took the time to run the number of buying vs leasing and broke down my options on paper. Come to find out it was more cost e... view moreffective for me to lease and purchase at the end of the lease. The attention and service I received was amazing and I was treated with respect and had the most fun buying a car!!! No pressure or stress just pleasantness!! I love my new car and feel good driving it because of the experience I had!!! Thanks Chevy!!!!
