Update: called back to offer swapping the cross member they had with a manual one so the transmission was safe plus 50$ for the part and was told that they wanted for me to pay to pull out the engine and would not sell it to me other wise.. Aperently thier mission statement includes overcharging the customer at all costs. Beware!
