Poor Experience

I was charged 69.99 for a combined chip and crack repair. Over the next couple days, one of the cracks grew two to three inches. I brought the car back in to have it fixed, they told me that cracks are unpredictable and can still branch off if a chip is ?ˆ?repaired?ˆ?. Fine. During the second repair, Mike, who was owner, asked me to turn up the heat in my car so it would help prepare the windshield for the process. I ... view moredid as he said, but as soon as one of the employees started working on the crack, it grew another few inches in front of my eyes. He yelled, ?ˆ?turn off the heat!?ˆ? and I informed him that it was Mike who told me to have it on in the first place. Right off the bat, there was clearly a problem; either Mike or the other man didn?ˆ™t know what they were doing. Mike was summoned and he immediately started to look panicked as soon as he saw the new sized crack. He tried to pass it off as just water getting blown out and how it was already that long before, but only he could tell. Now I?ˆ™m not an auto glass expert, but I?ˆ™m not blind and I know when I?ˆ™m being fed horse manure by the spoonful. Furthermore, when the employee repeated to Mike that we clearly witnessed the crack grow, there was an awkward moment where I almost expected Mike to stomp on the other man?ˆ™s foot while saying ?ˆ?shut up?ˆ? between his teeth. I know we are all human and mistakes happen, but I really hate being lied to. I got the second repair done without charge, but not before further damage was caused and despite the fact that it should have been done right the first time. Sometimes there?ˆ™s no avoiding getting chips on the windshield, but I know that the next time it happens, ?ˆ?Quality?ˆ? Auto Glass in Seattle is one thing I can avoid.

My price was 69.99 for a combined chip and crack repair. Although there was a slight hitch in the operation, the owner, Mike, really went out of his way to make things right. I respect that he took responsibility and would encourage him to continue running his business in this fashion. Mike is a man who obviously cares a lot about his shop and it shows in his dedication to customer satisfaction.

Nice folks. Quality Service.

Nice folks! Fixed my windshield rock chip in .5 hr. for $40. They took the time explaining the procedure and what I should expect from the fix. The staff are really really nice and know what they are doing. They got 4 stars because I went in the first time Fri. @ 5:15p.m. and they couldn`t get me in (close @ 6) so I had to go back on another day. Better make an appointment. They don`t open on Sat.

Above and beyond

Recently, my car was broken into and the front passenger window broken. After calling around, Quality was the cheapest at 149,99 + tax, while Allstar and Speedy were 185/205. They took me in at 1pm on a Friday afternoon and had my car ready by 3pm. I was thinking about taking my car for a vacuum afterward, since there was glass everywhere. This was by far my happiest experience with an auto repair shop. I almost wish these guys did more than fix windows and detailing!

Highly qualified technicians

I had my windshield replaced at Quality Auto Glass last month. Talk about great service. Not only are these guys friendly, good at what they do and highly skilled, they treated my BMW with love. They also have a superior detail shop at the same location. Now those guys were GOOD! My BMW is black ok? How many guys do you know in the detail business who can give you a SWIRL-FREE detail?
