terrible service, contracted out tow without notice, avoid!!

Improper towing of a vehicle. The appointment I made with the tow company was for 7:45pm on a Monday night. I waited until 8:05pm and finally called the company, and there was no one there so I left several messages. No one attempted to call me, no emails either. Finally, @ 8:11pm I received a call and voice-mail from a phone number 206-427-XXXX, from someone claiming to be ""the driver"" and that they were ""30-40 m... view moreinutes away,"" they also mentioned they would try and be as quick and as ""quiet as possible"" to as not to ""disturb my neighborhood."" When no one showed up or called by 9:05pm, almost an hour after his message of ""30-40 minutes"" I called the number back and he told me he was ""a few minutes away."" Finally at around 9:15pm the truck showed up and proceeded to make all kinds of noises that sounded like the big air brakes on semi trucks, while sitting in the middle of a residential neighborhood. This was before the truck began lowering it`s bed or doing anything to get the car up, which was also extremely noisy. The truck was marked ""Felix Transport LLC Des Moines, WA #26"" The plates on the truck read: XXXX H XXXXXX S There was a black male of about 6` driving the truck and a white female in the passenger seat. From the sounds of it there was also a large dog inside the truck that sounded like it was barking. I couldn`t tell, the truck was high off the ground and it was dark outside. The driver did not give me his name. When I asked for a receipt he said he didn`t have one and had no idea what I was talking about, and that he was ""filling in"" for someone else. He called up his ""boss"" on his phone and put me on the phone with his ""boss"" who tried to tell me that because it was a late night pick-up that there was no receipt and that I`d be ""getting one by mail."" I explained to him that I was told there would be a receipt regardless of the time and that the driver was almost 2 hours late. The ""boss"" gave me his # which is: 206-391-XXXX but I could not get his name. At this point I was so fed up and I figured since they knew where to come find the vehicle and they had my information they were probably OK, so after taking pictures of the tow truck, noting its plates and the descriptions of the people, I let the driver take it. This is extremely unprofessional behavior. I had my neighbors outside staring daggers at me because of all the noise from the tow truck, which would NOT have been a problem @ 7:45pm, or maybe even 8:45! But after 9pm is simply unacceptable. My wife and I had to get up early the next morning and our sleep was disrupted. Also, the lack of a receipt made me nervous and I was tempted to turn the guy away and schedule another time. I contacted the company the next day and they told me that they had contracted the tow out to another company and though they said they were sorry for all the problems, they would not do anything to make it right despite all the disturbance that it caused.
