$3 Dollars part to solve a year problem.

I am a NEW CUSTOMER to Community automotive service in Burien. He had fixed an Injector problem but I also wanted him to check on my security problem and here are the details.

I wanted Dan to find another problem I had been dealing with for over a year now, where my car wont start some times, my security light comes on, and sometimes starts when security light not on. I shared some paper work from previous s... view morehops concerning the same security light problem. Dan reported that those shops were playing a guessing game by just replacing parts and not getting to the source of the problem. Dan had shared with me an original Saturn tool that is needed to perform proper analysis to get to the source of the complaint. This system is quite complicated and needed some proper analysis and the proper tools before finding the actual problem. A day later, Dan found the problem, It was a sensor in the lock cylinder that was acting up giving the wrong information to the computer causing it not to star. Dan also offerd me a cheaper way to fix the problem instead of spending over Four hundred and fifty dollars by fooling the system and adding a resistor in the wiring to have the computer set with one code all the time which would only cost Three dollars in parts plus labor. Its been two weeks now and I have not had one problem starting my vehicle. So just wanted to report this great experience with Dan at Community automotive service in Burien. .

Great people great products great prices

I was referred to go to community auto tech by Danny @ car quest when i bought my hub caps for my wheels. It took my about a week to go in, but I also stopped by Autozone to buy some cleaners as I wanted to clean my wheels before hand. Autozone also referred me to Community auto tech. I was shocked to find out that everyone is referring me to the same place in Burien. Sure enough, took my car in and man I was plea... view moresed and thankful to car quest and autozone for introducing me to a great place where I live in the Burien area. Treated me very well, where they also found a small nail in my tire, got it fixed for absolutely free of charge, I also mentioned that I wanted to used the chemicals I got from autozone to clean my tires, Dan right away gave his command on the radio to have it done as I waited. Recommend them very much to everyone.

I have read some or most of the reviews on this business, I was quite amazed. Also heard about them from my friends at work, and some family members as well. My oh my, these guys are GREAT!

My car has been hesitating upon acceleration from stops for about a month now, finally fed up with possibly killing my engine off as the mechanics stood around and scratched their heads, I took my car to these guys. I called, he asked me to come on by and hopped in the driver seat and asked ME to join him, so that I could explain everything that was happening and point out what I was talking about. Turns out, wasn`t ... view moremy engine AT ALL, it was my transmission, he got me some lube, it`s already doing better and he thinks it`ll get better over time (we`re gonna do a flush in a month so that we don`t kill my tranny off, since the people who I bought it from didn`t change Anything in the poor subie :( . ON TOP OF THIS, they did a thorough inspection of my car FREE OF CHARGE and came back with a differential leak, THANK GOD they did, or my minor transmission problems would be a whole hell of a lot worse. Best of all, he jacked the car up and showed me exactly where it was leaking and what was going wrong (wrong seal installed). I`m sold, give these guys a shot!

The BEST

My Jeep was not able to start. I had it towed to so many shops. Finally Community automotive service figured out my problem, a bad fly wheel.
