AVIOD FOR ANYTHING CAR RELATED!!!!
AVIOD REDMOND AUTO CENTER. I bought a car here and it broke down after less than two weeks. The clutch went out, (because of prior abuse?). I the clutch fixed, then not a month later, the radiator went out, which was another trip to the shop. After about 6 weeks, the fuel system sprung a leak, and had to have the whole system under the hood replaced. Then the last straw was the bolt for the tensioner on the timi... view moreng belt broke because they tried to do the timing belt at their own shop, stripped out the bracket, and put in the wrong bolt just to make it work for sale. I bought the car because of the clean title, and carfax. I have tried many times to get re-imbursed, or at least an apology, but they say its normal wear and tear, and have nothing to do with it. I have put in over $3000 into repairs in the last year, and with the broken timing belt, I am looking at over $3200 to get it running again. They are scammers, and buy broken cars for cheap and try to sell them to unsuspecting vicitims.

CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!
I brought my new car here to get detailed and the employees negligently got wax all over the mirrors, window moulding, door handles, roof rack, and front grille. I returned my car to ask them to remove the wax and their employee proceeded to use a black paint marker to cover up all of the wax on the mirrors, window mouldings and door handles. When I asked why they painted all the parts on my car they said it was pr... view moreocedure. I asked them to remove the paint, they stripped the parts and agreed in writing with a signature by the owner Dave Thomas to replace all the parts that they destroyed and restore my car to the condition that it was in before they "detailed" it. I am a single mother who works full time and has two children so it was vital for me to have a car and Dave claimed it was not his responsibility to give me a car while my car was in the shop due to his employees negligence. After two months of back and forth communication with the owner Dave as he was reluctant to contact his insurance company regarding the matter, he wanted me to go through his friend to get my car fixed, he didn`t want to give me a rental car, etc., he finally agreed to restore my car to the condition it was and give me a rental car as I would be without a car for two days while my car was in the shop. The week before my car was supposed to go into the shop my aunt offered to let me use her car while she was out of town as long as I housesat. I agreed and let Dave know that I would not need a car after all, trying to be accomodating and save him the hassle of getting me a rental car. I brought my car to the collision center Monday July 27th 2009 and two days later my car still hadn`t been paid for by Dave. My car should have only been in the shop Monday and Tuesday. Finally Thursday at 530pm, when the collision center was closing, Dave had an employee drop a partial check off to the collision center. This was intentional as the collision center had given Dave the actual cost of the repairs. I called and emailed Dave Friday the 31st at 8am to let him know that my aunt was back in town and that she would be taking her car at noon. I asked Dave when I could expect the remainder of the payment to be at Lakeside as I needed to arrange to pick up my car before 5 so that I could pick up my children immediatly after that. Dave failed to return my calls or emails but had his assistant Mike call me to tell me that he would not be paying the difference in the actual bill nor would he be giving me a rental car for the weekend. I told Mike that I would walk over to the Redmond Auto Center after work so we could call Dave together, as Dave wouldn`t answer my calls because he was at Seafair. Mike let me know that they would be open until 6pm. I arrived at 510pm and they were closed. I asked they collision center if they could bill the Redmond Auto Center and relase my car to me but they stated that their policy is to collect the money before the car is released. Additionally they said it is apparent by the way Dave didn`t return their calls or emails that they would never see the money if they were to bill him. They said that they were sorry that I am having to go through this. I had to take a cab to pick up my children Friday, I didn`t have a car all weekend, I had to take a cab to work today, I have been inconvienced and caused a lot of undue stress. I have photos, witnesses, emails, have contacted the better business bureau, State of Washinton Attorney General, etc. This is not something I want anyone else to have to go through. It is apparent that Dave Thomas is not concerned about his employees negligence or his customers gratification. Beware when thinking about getting your car detailed or purchasing a car from this guy, most likely you will get burned. This is a very unethical business/owner. Good luck.
