Founded in 1975, S&J Engines is a private business built by guys with a passion for quality and a penchant for engines. For the past thirty-five years, we have lovingly produced the highest quality remanufactured automotive and marine products at our state of the art facilities in Spokane, Washington. S&J engines is a privately owned business and has been manufacturing quality automotive and marine products in Spokane Washington by the same owners for over thirty five years. In those thirty five years we have continually strived to maintain the highest quality - that takes commitment, experienced machinists and updated equipment, especially with the rapidly changing technology found in today`s engines. The clearances found in today`s vehicles were considered unreachable just a few years ago. The equipment of yesterday is not capable of producing the required tolerances today`s engines need. S&J has continually upgraded its equipment and training to insure the engines we produce today are equal to or better then the original. We know our engines are no better than our people, our average machinist has over fifteen years tenure and experience and with the rapid changes in today`s engine technology, continual training is a must! Mechanic`s best friend. They`ve saved me thousands over the years. I`ve probably ordered over 30 engines from S&J and have only had to use the warranty on one. They build the engines to last. Good company.

Dealer recommended S&amp;J. After putting 20k on my engine, I haven`t had any problems. Still strong as the day it was installed, probably even stronger.

Best out there.

Best out there. I don`t know anything about engines except that my brother replaced my Tacoma`s engine with an S&J engine and it has no problems. Thanks guys.

454 Big Block

If you`re a car hobbyist like myself, these guys are the shop to go to. I usually start a new project once every two years and they have always provided the heart of my cars. The engines are like brand new and their warranty is solid. Best in the business as far as I`m concerned. They don`t even mind taking the time to talk shop with me. :)
