Reviews:
Horrible customer service
Bought a brand new battery for our Honda motorcycle last spring... Had it on a charger all winter, went to start it this spring and wouldn`t start then wouldn`t hold a charge after jumping and letting it run for a while either. Of course this was two weeks after the one year anniversary of purchase and can`t get a returned call from Barry to discuss if there`s anything they can do for us and the piece of crap batter... view morey they sold us! I wish I would have checked out these reviews before going there!!!

Dont Go!
i was also warned about going there, but i went anyway.
Do not take your bike there, they wont take care of it, left it outside, dirty, even had bird crap on it. I admit I was vocal about the condition, but was told to leave and never come back. I wont, and everyone i know will not go there either, hope the hot tub thing works out.

BEWARE!!
I was warned against dealing with this company, however, I believe in giving people a chance.
I called for a quote on an oil change and safety inspection on my bike and was told it would be $75 plus parts. When inquiring as to what parts might be necessary I was asked the condition and year of my bike and was told that parts were probably not necessary.
I dropped the bike off in the morning and went to... view more pick it up in the afternoon. The charge was doubled to $150. Why so much? The oil and filter were ?ˆ?parts?ˆ? on this service. I complained that this should have been included in the quote and that I specifically asked what parts.
The owner immediately became defensive, belligerent and asked me not to come back. Another employee standing to the side started making snide comments, and speaking rudely to my wife. As we were leaving, they threatened us and challenged us to a fight after they closed. THE OWNER OF A BUSINESS??????
Sad, but true. The worst experience I have ever had with a Bellingham business. I now understand their reputation.

Worst Service Ever
The manager on staff (I think it must be Al`s son) was extremely rude to me. I own a new Yamaha bike and I like doing business with dealerships regulary instead of indipendant shops, but in this case, even though I live right down the road, I will never go back.

OK for Stihl Chainsaws
I bought my Stihl Chainsaw at Al`s. The price was fair, the service was good, and it was a 100% positive experience. I`ve heard terrible things around town about the motorcycle end of their business - sounds like maybe they aren`t the best place to buy a bike, but for Stihl chainsaws I give Al`s the thumbs up.

Lack Integrity
They have no integrity. Go to Home Depot for your mower.
If you have no alternative than to shop here beware of the fact that they take your money with a smile and then have horrible customer service if you have any problems. I believe they sold me a defective lawn mower but I had no way to prove it. Then when we had to return it the owner bullied my husband and told him to get off the property, ""we will call y... view moreou"". I picked it up and the repair man said, after I asked him to show me that it was running properly, ""Do you want me to mow the lawn for you too?"" That in a nutshell is their attitude from front office, to repair and service.
Check it carefully before you pay any money.

Service
I went to their shop to have my rototiller serviced because it was not functioning properly. I have owned my tiller for 4 years and have had them service it each year. I brought it to their backyard office and was unsure if any of them had a very good command of the English language. I never heard from them for over 3 weeks. I finally called them and they said they left a message. I didn`t get a message and gave... view more them a cell number to call. They told me the transmission was the problem. I asked them why and he told me to check my owners manual. A week later I got another phone call letting me know that they can no longer get parts for the transmission. Wow! a 4 year old tiller that they completed all the service on and now they can`t get any parts for repair. Why? They don`t know, consult your owner`s manual. Why would I purchase anything from this shop again??

very rude
I was warned about Al`s by a friend before I went there but seeing as they are the only honda and yamaha dealer in town I went anyway to test drive a bike. I was ignored by the counter kids even though I was one of two people in the store and when a guy finally came out from the back to see if I needed anything, I asked if I could test ride a bike. He told me they didn`t allow test rides because people who purchase b... view moreikes already know what they want, implying that I must be a idiot to be bike shopping, even though I rode in on my motocycle. Well I am buying a new bike but it sure as hell won`t be from Al`s.

Rude, questionable service charges, untruthful.
I`m warning you don`t do business with them. There is something the matter with all of them. If you question a $99 tune up costing $262. they`ll just keep your lawnmower and threaten to sell it. Plus they didn`t even notice a flat tire even though we wrote FLAT on it. Amazing attention to detail. Desperate billing. Plus they are stark raving angry. I`d like to give this star a negative X10. Don`t get suckered into de... view morealing with them. Go anywhere else.
