I found this shop on yelp, I was looking for a good place to get a radio and I figured I would check them out... Im glad I did, the salesman was very knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me pick out a radio that fit my needs and didnt try to push me into the most expensive unit. They installed the radio in like 30 mins, wow, and notified me that my front speaker was blown. This crew here at Foss Car Audio is amazing when I came through the front door I was greeted by a man named Josh he helped get me the radio and speakers I wanted to make my 99 Pontiac Grand Prix sound amazing. The team in the back was very fast an efficient. Nick and Aaron were the installers who tag teamed my car and got it done fast and right. When I was leaving a man named Kevin showed me how to use my new radio and all the settings were already set, but if I wished to change them I would know how. He was probably one of the smartest guys I have talked to in Car Audio. Almost a text book teaching of my radio if you wish. There was also another gentlemen their i believe his name as Lucas very friendly guy, seemed to be the manager. These guys are amazing i went in to get a deck and some speakers and The salesman Josh helped me. He was very thorough with what was going into my car and made sure the equipment was exactly what i wanted and that it would suit my needs with the budget i was in. The installers were quick and efficient i got my car back sounding way better than it did when i brought it in. Great customer service as soon as I walked in the door. I have a Lexus IS350 and I wanted my Sub and amp installed a particular way. They obliged me and installed it precisely the way I asked. When I came and picked it up the installer gave me a thorough rundown of exactly what they did. I am very happy. Thanks!!!

i decided i wanted a new cd player for my truck. i went to Best buy and Car toys to then to Foss. at Foss i was warmly greated as soon as entering the store. the sales person was very helpful and not pushy to sell whatsoever. the prices were less then both car toys and best buy. mind you car toys was having the end of year sale and Foss still beat there price without a sale going on. i had Foss install it as well for... view more only $35, great price and had my truck back in about an hour and 10. also got a 2 year in store extended warranty for $30 witch they said if anything goes wrong just stop in and they will replace it right away no questions. great service with best prices i could find, very fast and quality work, will be going to foss many more times,

Unfortunately, my experience with Foss Car Audio in Tacoma has been unpleasant. I had an auto ignition installed and they called me to pick my car up. As soon as I get there they tell me they need both my car keys; they should have told me when they called. After I came back with both keys, it took them another three hours to get the auto ignition installed. They did a terrible job of informing me of what was goi... view moreng on. I had to ask even though they kept passing by me back and fourth the whole time. And when I asked for an update, one of them looked at me funny before answering. They finally called someone who knew what to do and they got it installed. I think it was almost 10 p.m. when I left and the store was closed since 7 p.m. I believe.

The starter works, but there are several problems, so I called Foss again. I told the man I had some issues and he told me to bring the car up. He didn?ˆ™t ask what the issue was, but he was quick to hang up so I wouldn?ˆ™t have been able to say what my issue was anyway. The man?ˆ™s name is Ed by the way. When I arrived, it took him a while to help me, even though I was by the counter. When I told him the things I needed looked at, he gave me some smart remarks as if I didn?ˆ™t know what I was talking about. Then he stated I needed to make an appointment. So I did, but I told him I would have appreciated it if he told me that on the phone. He said I should have told him when I called. I was pretty upset with that remark when he was so quick to end our conversation so I didn?ˆ™t have the opportunity to tell him. He told me to bring my car by, so I assumed he knew what he was talking about.

I was very patient and friendly to the Foss employees, and they were recommended by my family. I?ˆ™m very disgusted in their poor customer service. I?ˆ™m not even going to my other appointment. I?ˆ™d rather go somewhere else and pay more money to fix their mistakes than to talk or see any of them again.

I use to shop at the swap meet because I thought it was cheaper. The install work was pretty shabby but I figured you get what you pay for. I worked with Ed at Foss he gave me a better price for the gear than the swap meet and the install process was so much better. I came back a week later cause my system was not working right and they fixed it in 2 minutes. I had switched a setting in the deck and they knew exa... view morectly what was wrong.

I took my car here to get a simple cd player put in my car. It took them about 2 hours to put it in. And while i was waiting all I could here were them fighting back and forth and cussing left and right. Not good for any person to hear. I will never go here again!
