Beware!!! It would be zero if they had one. I got this guy off a phone book because my vehicle broke down at my church and then a couple of hooligans broke my door and stole some things inside. This repair shop towed my car to their garage and said he`d take care of it. After he repaired the door and ignition damages done from the burglary, I paid him a portion of the bill and came back the following week to pay off ... view morethe balance. He was on the phone and had a scattered mind, he said he couldn`t find my bill so he would just indicate it there later. I felt uneasy but was in a hurry for another appointment so I hesitantly said ok. I figured, this guy has seen my a few times and knows I am a good woman and hoped he wouldn`t take advantage. I have been in communication with the mechanic more than a couple of times and have visited the garage for about 3 times already prior to giving him the remaining balance on that repair. He never seems to return my calls and I have to track him down or call a few times to get him. He finally gives me an estimate for the bigger repairs to get my vehicle to run again but it`s more than what the vehicle is worth. When I came back one more time to let him know I can`t repair because my circumstances have changed. He then tells me that I still had a balance as I argued and even started to question my memory. It was a cash deal and I am at a disadvantage because I didn`t make sure I got a receipt from my payment. If nothing else, I wish to alert prospective clients for this mechanic. He probably doesn`t even maintain their business book/account to not know who paid what. My error your shield. But Beware!!! It`s hard to find honest mechanics now adays.
