Sold me an absolute lemmon
I recently purchased a used truck from Jack Carroll used vehicles. The sales rep was very nice, advising me to tell him `about my home` and about my military experiences. Little did I know, it was all a giant act.
I realized a couple things later:
1. He didn`t tell me the price of the vehicle up front, he waited til I had already been there an hour going over other details. When I had asked the price, he ... view moresaid we had to determine what I wanted on the vehicle before he could give me a number. This was a crafty way of not telling me the price until the last minute.
2. I asked for the car facts, he said `I`ll print them now` and then never got them off the printer. I don`t know if he actually printed them.
3. He didn`t tell me what the interest rate was from the bank, and when I asked he said `It`s an okay rate right now, but I`m working on getting it lower ` instead of giving me a direct answer. I didn`t find out until I went into the manager`s room to finalize the sale that they had got a very, very high interest rate from a small bank.
4. After I had bought the truck, I had noticed many, many things were not working. Good example: you cannot turn the full way to the left or right when the vehicle is in 4 wheel drive. I only used the 4 wheel drive for a minute on the drive test, so I didn`t know. As well, the drivers` side window has a slow motor - you have to grab the window by hand to pull it up. The dealer cranked up the AC when we test drove, so I didn`t get the chance to test the windows.
From now on, I`ll remember the sales rep from Jack Carroll for being a great actor. He told me stupid stories of his turkey hunting trips, time in the service, and love of football. The worst was when he asked to talk about `home` and then talked for 45 minutes about himself...

So its the dealerships fault that your husband lost his job and the banks do job verfication . If you read the paper work properly it does say that the contract is binding if the information is correct and stays the same . Good luck with that law suit , suggestion : Keep the money your spending on the lawyers and fix your husbands credit , so you wont need co signers! Just a suggestion.

A completely dishonest waste of time
This dealership is a waste of precious time and energy. They are rude, dishonest and harassed us for weeks.
After my husband and I selected a car from this disgrace of a dealership. Nine days after the contracts were signed, my husband lost his job to corporate downsizing. The company failed to complete their verification checks until one day after that, and promptly called to renege on their contract to financ... view moree us. Although we contacted a lawyer who also contacted them and advised them we were under his counsel, the harassing telephone calls and threats of repossession began immediately. Upon arriving home from errands, we would find multiple messages accusing us of ducking their calls, and their financial department threatened to pick up the car and keep our deposit.
We brought in two lawyers and a cosigner with perfect credit, and the dealership assured us three different times that the situation would be dealt with and the financing would be approved. They reneged on their word all three times.
After four weeks of harassment, lawyer consultations and constant stress, our lawyer advised us to return the car until he could find the proper course of action.
As of this writing, a lawsuit is pending.
I would strongly advise anyone considering a purchase from this dealership to take their time, energy and money elsewhere.
