I brought my car there. They asked me to sign the work order or invoice before they wrote on it. I said that doesn`t sound right to me. Ken Armstrong said don`t worry we have been in business a long time. We are trustworthy. I believed him. They took my transmission system apart without my authorization. I ended up having to pay them $485 in cash to get my car and my transmission parts out of their shop. I took them ... view moreto small claims court but Mark Shaw lied on the stand. The burden of proof was on me. The judge ruled in favor of them. DON`T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! READ ALL OF THE THE REVIEWS ON YELP, CITY SEARCH AND JUDY`S BOOK. The most dishonest mechanic I have ever dealt with

I had my transmission rebuilt by King`s transmission and after 4 months it started acting up. I took it back to them and they told me it was an engine problem. I took it to get another mechanics opinion and he told me that it was for sure the transmission. I brought it back to King`s and once again they told me it wasn`t a transmission issue. I took it to the dealer ($105 of my money) and they have told me it was wit... view morehout a doubt a bad transmission. I feel King`s has been VERY dishonest and is trying to lead me on until the 12 mo 12k warranty runs out. Update- they finally owned up to the warranty and replaced the transmission but before I could pick it up I had to give them another $300 for a different part that they were just replacing for a safety measure. They said they would not honor my warranty if I didn`t purchase the part. So I did. Good thing I did because 600 miles later I just found transmission fluid on the ground under my car. Once again I have to deal with these guys...Problem still not resolved. I will go out of my way to tell everyone to stay away.
