I know quite a bit about cars ...
I know quite a bit about cars and know what most repairs take. Allstar didn`t treat me like a geek off the street and did some work on my car quick, fast, easy and for a lot less money than other places I talked to.

I`ve been in three times total...
I`ve been in three times total now, two of my cars and with a friend. They`ve been great every time, nice, fair pricing and a quality job. The same guys have been there for years which is nice that they don`t have high turnaround. Car troubles suck but it`s refreshing when you don`t have to pay an arm and a leg to get `em fixed.

Darn Good tranny shop
I`ve been into this shop three times now, two of my cars and one of my friend`s. They`ve been great all times, nice, quality work and fair pricing. The same guys have been in there for years which is good they don`t have high turnaround. My cars they worked on are still going strong and I couldn`t have been happier with my tranny shop choice.

Un trustworthy shop, Doesnt stand behind work
Can not say enough bad things about these guys. They seem nice and helpful. Yet, when my car was finished, it had a fresh ding on the hood. When I called they put me off, saying someone would call me back... After 2 months of calling them. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Now 3 months after the repair, my car is leaking Transmission fluid. The cost upfront seemed reasonable(a little less than other places) but consi... view moredering the cost to do the job again, the damage to my car and the 3 days it took them to do this it was not worth it. The new mechanic said the ding was clearly someone leaving something on the hood and slamming it. But according to the manager/owner at Allstar, He has professionals working there and they (I quote) `Never make mistakes` Yet 3 months and over 1000 dollars later my car is leaking and according to new mechanic its coming from the seals they `said` they replaced`. I will not deal with the people there again. Pick someone who stands behind their work.
I have spoken to a few places near by and they have all said that they would not take their car there. They had heard similar stories. I will say they get the one star for at least calling before they started repairs and OK`ing costs with me.

Darn Good Mechanics
Yeah, I neglected my poor car until the tranny gave up the ghost completely. Towed ole girl into Allstar and expected to have to take out a second mortgage. When I got the call with an estimate I was shocked, in a good way. Literally thousands less than the shop I had it towed from. Done in a couple days. Wow, impressed is an understatement. Nice guys to boot.

They are terrible!
I went to this transmission place to get my clutch replaced. The former front desk guy there was awesome and really kind about everything. So I thought well of the place, until my clutch went out of line 3 months later after getting a brand new one!!! They say that they tow and service and that my clutch was warrantied for a year, yea well when they towed my car and fixed to realign whatever problem they didnt fix in... view more the first place they had the audacity to try to charge me! They new front desk guy lied to me that the clutch should be maintenanced, and realigned every few months which is complete bullcrap and they want me to pay for the tow! It is all bad management and a screwed up company that will try to get you for every extra dime you have no matter what you say!!! I recommend AAMCO because the gentleman there was very polite and professional. The people at allstar are dirtbags! Stay as far away from this sham as possible! I beg of you!
