Honest Great Quality Service!
I had gone to Franks shop previously for a loose bolt in my engine. Recently I was hit by someone who ran a stop sign and I knew exactly where to take my car to be fixed! They helped me deal with the insurance company which took a lot of stress off on my end. I had whiplash and Frank offered me a ride home which was so awesome! They never pressured me to make a decision to take total loss money fixing car or ditching... view more it. I do not have a phone and Dawn would email me keeping me updated. They did a great job fixing up my little 92 Toyota and made this process very smooth as I knew they would. :]

Terrific!
After major disasters at Entler`s, I went to Frank Warren`s. Number one service. Reasonable prices. No complaints at all.

Best Auto Service
I was on my way through town when my charge light came on. Thank God Frank Warrens could help me out!! They got me in, changed my alternator & I was on my way. Still made it to my destination on time.
Thank all of you at Frank Warrens!

Not Recommended
The windshield wiper switch on my car broke. I brought it into Warrens Auto because it was convenient and well recommended on citysearch. They quoted me replacement was $100 parts + $150 labour.
After looking into it myself, I realized you could replace the part using just a screwdriver, whole thing just takes 10 minutes. They refused to revise their labour estimate even after I explained this.
Eventual... view morely I just purchased a replacement part on ebay for $20 and did it myself.
Oh, and they said my CV boot was kinked up, and needed to be stretched out and reinstalled. I gave them the goahead, and they uninstalled the CV boot, were unable to unkink it, and reinstalled the CV kinked boot. They charged me for this.

Honest, competent service at a fair price.
I`ve had good experiences taking several of my cars to Frank Warren`s in the last two years. Carl and the other mechanics are highly competent and friendly, and the prices are reasonable (I`ve never felt as though I were being taken advantage of, in contrast to some other downtown repair facilities). The only reason I am not giving the highest recommendation is that I`ve often had to wait long periods to get my cars ... view moreback, sometimes for weeks at a time, even when the repairs were fairly straightforward. I`m willing to wait for these periods of time, however, because it is so hard to find an honest mechanic these days. Overall, it`s a very solid, honest business.

Better than the dealership...
Of course you will have to pay for them to ""diagnose"" the computer codes. It`s called a labor charge. Duh. Beaverton Nissan wanted to chage almost $500 more and take twice as long in the estimate as Frank Warrens. I`d recommend them to anyone that wants it done right without having to shell out the dealership bucks.

Would not go back
I will not go back to Frank Warrens. This place wanted to charge me roughly $360 to fix 3 things. I can find the parts at an auto parts store for under $50 and learn how to do it on the internet myself! They did not tell me about this initially, but they charged $96to diagnose the problem. If that is not enough that repair wouldn`t even cover why my check engine light is on. I would in fact have to pay another $8... view more5 to have them diagnose that problem, let alone the cost to actually fix it. Frank Warrens is a scam. I feel totally ripped off and will never ever go back.

Frank Warren`s: Knowledgeable and Reliable
I highly recommend this automotive repair shop. I just moved to Portland and I was in search of a reliable place to get my car fixed. Frank Warren`s took care of me and my care in a timely fashion for a very reasonable price. I really appreciated the time they took to explain to me what was wrong and the options to fix the problem. Further they were sensitive to my time constraints. I really appreciated all that... view more they did for me. I will, with out a doubt, return for regular maintenance and any unforeseeable problems with my car.

The BEST
Heidi and Frank run the best garage in Portland. I currently live in Seattle and still return to this place when I have a need. They have been trustworthy, prompt, and fair.
Heidi and Frank and been able to give advice over the phone and have always been a pleasure to deal with. If you are looking for a garage where you DON`T feel like you are being ripped off, this is the one.
