In 1969 Art Gamblin sold his Chrysler-Plymouth dealership in southern Idaho and purchased the General Motors dealer in Enumclaw. Art had previously been a GM dealer and wanted to return to selling products he felt were superior. Then the dealership sold new Chevrolets, Buicks, Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles and Opels.? Art?ˆ™s son, Alan Gamblin, was 13 years old in 1969. He worked washing cars and sweeping floors. Since then, he has worked in every aspect of the dealership. Alan became a partner in 1985 and then purchased the dealership in 1992. Retaining the original name, he continued to build upon a legacy of customer service and treating people fairly.In retirement Art Gamblin continued his involvement within the local community, particularly with the Chamber of Commerce and fund raising activities for civic causes. He passed away in the spring of 2002. Art`s qualities and love for treating customers fairly and honestly has been passed down to his son Alan Gamblin and grandson Tyson Gamblin who continue in Art`s footsteps. ? ?

My car buying experience with Art Gamblin motors was an experience I have never had at any other dealership. The car I was looking at buying was a 2007 Subaru Tribeca. They brought the car to my work in Tacoma for a test drive all the way from Enumclaw, which I thought was unheard of in the car industry. Then, when I went to sign the papers they had everything ready and the price was the same as we had discussed ov... view moreer the phone no hidden surprises. Although, it was a fantastic buying experience the car is not so great it has been in the shop 3 of the last 5 weeks since I bought it and it is sitting in my driveway not drive able right now, the manger Tom Rebek assured me they would make it right. They will be picking my car up at my home on Friday to see if they can figure out what might be going on with the car and giving me a loaner to drive. I will update next week when the problem has been found and hopefully fixed. Well, they have had my car for four days and claim it is the headlight delay that has caused all of the problems with the car. I guess we will see if that is in fact the case. Keep you posted if this last episode to their location fixed it or if I will be out of a car once again. If I will continue to have problems getting any where and missing more work. As, they do not do what they say they will do. I was told they were taking the car to Subaru and once again it never left their shop. I will update the status of the car in a week or less if the car is not fixed letting you know the status of the car.

Dale Dunks is a wonderful and friendly salesman! Bright and helpful, he is a pleasure to talk car with! He has really helped me in the past when I needed good solid information on a car I was looking at in Enumclaw! I would buy a car from Dale in a heartbeat!!
